3rd Person's POV

The afternoon sunlight spilled softly through the windows of the Todoroki estate, painting long golden lines across the tatami floors. The air smelled faintly of tea and cedar wood.

Shoto stood in the courtyard, already in his training clothes, ice glinting faintly around his feet as he practiced short bursts of control. Each exhale formed a thin fog in the crisp air.

Enji was away on a hero mission, leaving the house almost entirely still - except for two figures standing across from each other in the open yard.

Y/n stood across from him, dressed lightly, her expression calm - serene, even. She didn't look like someone preparing for combat. There was no stance, no visible tension. She simply was, quiet and still, as if the entire world had paused to listen to her breathe.

"Thank you for coming," he said simply, his voice calm as usual. "I wanted to see how you fight - and maybe learn something."

Y/n smiled softly. "You might regret that."

He tilted his head, curious but amused. "We'll see."

"You're sure about this?" She asked.

He gave a faint smirk. "You said you haven't started training yet. Consider this a warm-up."

Her smile was knowing, almost teasing. "Alright, Shoto. Don't say I didn't warn you."

He raised an eyebrow - warn me? - and launched forward, ice spreading rapidly beneath his feet. The sharp chill swept across the ground, freezing the earth into crystal-white frost as he aimed a quick, controlled strike toward her.

---

They took a few steps apart, the gravel crunching lightly beneath their feet. Shoto adjusted his stance - ice forming a thin mist along the ground on his right side, heat rippling faintly on his left.

Y/n, on the other hand, didn't move into a battle stance. Her posture remained relaxed, her hands resting loosely at her sides. The wind swayed her hair gently, catching the faint shimmer of green light that began to gather around her.

When Shoto moved first - a swift rush of frost toward her feet - Y/n didn't dodge.

Instead, she raised her hand slowly, almost gracefully, and a circle of luminous Dendro energy bloomed beneath her. From that sigil, delicate vines surged upward, curling through the ice and dissolving it into glittering mist.

The air filled with drifting petals of green light.

"What-?" Shoto murmured, stepping back slightly.

Y/n's eyes glowed faintly, her voice calm. "The earth listens... even here."

She extended her fingers - and thin strands of energy shot outward, connecting to the trees, the stones, even Shoto himself. The world seemed to hum as she established invisible links, forming a web of awareness that pulsed with her heartbeat.
