TMR Imagines and Preferences

Hey guys I'm back and I have some explaining to do which I will but for now I have one of two requests. This is for strawberry3412 (so sorry for the long wait).

It started as any normal day in the Glade would, Frypan's delicious breakfast and then off to your work as a Trackhoe. Of course you couldn't complain as you got to work with your favorite boy, Newt.

"Hey love!" Newt smiled at you and ruffled your dark brown hair.

"Quit Newt, I'm actually trying to look presentable today," you huffed smoothing it back into place and glaring at him.

"Sorry Caitlin," he giggled, "but you still you look great."

You sighed and started digging through the soil and pulling up weeds. Having Newt occasionally sling dirt at you, which caused all the other boys around you to groan. They were sick of the flirting and made fun of Newt constantly for not asking you out already.

A little while later Chuck came over to bring you and Newt lunch. Chuck always had a small crush on you, so he even picked you a few flowers.

"Hey Caitlin, I picked these for you," Chuck handed you what looked to be daisies.

"Thank you Chuck," you smiled and placed them in your pocket, you were always nice to the younger boy despite the fact that you would never date him.

"Hey Chuck could you turn around really quick there's something I need to do," Newt smirked and pulled you close to him.

Chuck did as he was asked and Newt captured your lips in a deep kiss. He had finally gotten up the courage to do something he should've done long ago. When Chuck turned back around he glanced at your intertwined hands and smiled.

"Finally Newt, everyone was waiting for you two to get together!"

"Slim it!" Newt and you blushed. Finally together and happy.

AN: I hoped you liked it Caitlin and I'm so so sorry for the long wait. Okay on to my explanation: I've had school and I'm trying to get into an honor society and tomorrow one of my orchestras starts so I'll have even more to do. I kept trying to write but every time I did I had homework or I was out of town. I'm very sorry and writing today made me feel so much better because I love writing so much. I have one more request I want to try and write it today/tonight. I'm going to try to get better at updating but it'll probably be on Fridays and weekends because those are my only free days. I'm so sorry and if you stayed through my unofficial 'hiatus' thank you so much and I love all of you and I hope you all can forgive me. By boos❤️
