"Gally please just leave me alone," your blue eyes shone with tears.

"No Jalina I won't because you can never do anything right. I don't even know why I'm dating you. Honestly, I could probably find something better on the bottom of my shoe."

"You're the worst shank I've ever met in my life Gally," you pushed him away from you and went to find your best friend, Thomas.

You were crying freely now, but it wasn't because of Gally. You would never cry over someone who cared about no one but themselves. You were crying because you were so frustrated with everything, about how you didn't stand up to him sooner. While you were thinking and wiping your tears, you bumped into Thomas.

"Hey Jal- hey hey what's wrong?"

"Well Gally just broke up with me after I let him push me around for as long as I can remember. I should be happy because I'm free but it's just, I don't know."

Thomas pulled you to him and stroked your hair, twirling the curls around in his fingers, "First I'm gonna beat the shuck out of Gally because no one treats my girl like that. Second it's gonna be okay, we'll figure it out."

Later that night at dinner Gally walked up to you with a black eye and a busted lip, "Can I speak to you in private?"

"Mmm no, I have nothing to say to you and I don't really want to hear what you have to say."

He grabbed your arm, "I need to speak with you Jalina."

Thomas was by your side immediately, prying Gally's hand off of you, "Do we need to have another chat, Gally? I thought I made myself clear the first time."

Gally stared at Thomas before backing down and returning to his table. Thomas put his arm around you and led you back to you seat.

"You okay?" He smiled.

"Yeah, I'm great. I'm free for real this time," You inhaled.

You both laughed and that's how you knew you could always count on Thomas.
