-Your Pov-
"I need to explain one more thing (Y/N). If your going to be a hunter you need to know how to kill a demon." He smirked. "The head or the heart. Hit either one and the demon will die." I nodded."Let's find you a weapon" Jake gestured to all the weapons in the small cabin. "Hmmmm" I said thinking. "Any recommendations?" I asked. "Well, it would be better if you trained with several different weapons. Let's start with a knife, then we can move up to a sword, and maybe train you to fire a gun." I smiled. "That would be nice." "Righty O'. Now let's continue this lesson outside." I got out of the old wooden chair and followed the others outside.
Jake, Jade, and John talked for a while. "We have devised a plan!" Jade said happily. "John will help you strengthen your mind while at school and we will train with weapons here after school everyday. Eventually the two will come together and we will start continuing your understanding by taking you on a hunt!" Jade said very fast I could barley make out her words.
Meanwhile John rolled out a few beaten up training dummies. "Here" he handed me a knife. "How do I do this?" I stood before a training dummy with a knife in my hand. "Either throw it or stab the dummy. Go for the head of the heart. Go for the kill." Jakes voice hardened. He was no longer talking gently, this was serious. "Just do something and we will show you the right way." Jade smiled slightly.
I took a few steps back and and plunged the dagger into the dummy. Except the knife only went in a few inches and it was about eight inches away from the heart. "Okay. Now pull it out." I gripped the handle and pulled out, with a slight struggle it was out of the dummy.
"Not bad. I've seen worse, it's a good start. You didn't hesitate. Try again." This time John helped me. "Try and use your whole body when your stabbing, and always use two hands." I nodded and took a few steps back from the dummy. I held the knife with two hands and thrust it into the foam chest. This time it went into the dummy all the way. It was also stabbed directly into the heart.
I heard clapping and turned around. Jade was the one clapping, John was smiling, and Jake looked excited. I smiled and took the knife out of the dummy. "Ok (Y/N) let's work on your stance"

The next day at school John pulled me to the side before class started. "Your training here is simple. When someone is talking to you try and think of what they are about to say. Try to finish their sentences. It's simple but should train your magical ability." I smiled. "Let's get to class" I said.
We both sit down and the teacher got up to talk. Hello students I predicted "Hello Students" the teacher said. I smiled slightly. This wasn't too hard.

It's been a week since I started training with Jake. I can see into the future about a minute whenever I chose. Today Jake said I could start training with a sword.
"Hey Jake!" I waved. He was standing in front of the cabin with two swords. We don't need any protective gear. If you get hit that means a demon can hit you faster. He handed me a sword and I stood where he was going to tell me to stand in about five seconds. I spread both my feet at shoulders length and held the sword with both my arms out like he would start explaining in twenty seconds. "I find the best way of learning is by ones mistakes. We will fight And I will tell you how you did and correct you. Then we fight again. Repeat." He explained and I nodded. "At the ready. Go!" I knew he would swing his sword to my right in three seconds so I moved to the side and swung for his left. I hit the mark.
I should have mentioned these were wooden swords with paint on them, and we were wearing old clothes we didn't mind getting paint on.
I left a long red stain on his shoulder. I looked into the future and saw him swing to the right then quickly go for the left while I wasn't expecting it. I moved to the side again and jabbed him in the chest. He wasn't expecting me to move, which I saw three seconds after his first move was canceled out because I went for him instead of him coming for me.
"I thought you said you wouldn't go easy on me?" I giggled. "I wasn't..." He grunted. "You really have your magical ability down to the tee." He said in an exasperated voice. "Not at all. The more I train, the farther I can see ahead. The farther I can see the more accurate my moves." I shrugged as if it was nothing. "I wish I had your ability. I haven't even unlocked mine yet."
"It's nice in school when you can see the answer to your next math problem before you work it out." Jake laughed at that one. "You think it's funny! It's not nice when you see your favorite anime character die before you get to that part in the episode!" I almost yelled and he held up his hands in defeat.
"Your pretty good with a sword. There isn't much to teach if you know the other opponents move. Tomorrow we start guns." I smiled and helped move supplies back into the cabin.
