Chapter 1

George P.O.V

I was nervously walking up and down the halls at the venue we were playing tonight. I really didn’t want to mess up, just like I did during the X Factor… Yeah I still think that it was my fault that we got send home.

I heard footsteps behind me and turned around. My best friend, Laura, was standing right behind me with a huge smile on her face.

“Hi Georgie! Why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?” “Because I’m nervous about tonight…” “Why? You’ve done it a million times already, why are you still nervous?” “Why do you think!?!” “Oh…”

She ran over and gave me a hug, as I started crying in her arms. You see; Laura and I have a weird relationship, because yeah we are best friends, but she’s also my girlfriend, or well not girlfriend, more like fake girlfriend. She is also the only one who knows the real me, secrets and everything.

***2 Hours Later***

“I’ll carry you, I’ll carry you, I’ll carry yoooooooou.” Josh finished the last song of the night. Finally the concert was over and I could just run away and hide. This was the worst concert of the tour.

First of all, I missed my solo, because I was too busy looking at Josh, being gorgeous, then he accidently touched my arm and I sang false, then Jaymi looked at me weirdly and I passed out, ON STAGE.

Could this have gone any worse?

Probably yes, because when I was hiding in the corner of our dressing room, crying my eyes out, Laura found me.

“Oh Georgie, why do this keep happening to you?” “You mean why I keep falling in love with the wrong people?” “Yes.” “I don’t know…” “It really sucks, but I really think you should tell them.” “How do you suggest I do that without making them hate me?” “They are your bandmates for crying out loud, they could never hate you!!” Laura yelled and threw a pillow at me. “Oh it’s on!” I yelled and started tickling her, so she was screaming.

Just then, Josh, Jaymi and JJ decided to make an appearance, and entered the room. “Uhm interrupting something?” Josh asked with a fake smirk. He seemed sad to see me with Laura. Of course he thought we were really dating.

“No, not at all. Actually, you saved me from my twat of a boyfriend.” Laura said standing up, brushing dust of her black skinny jeans. If I wasn’t gay, I would definitely be attracted to her. She has shoulder long brown hair and chocolate brown eyes that always are covered in black eyeliner. I think it’s safe to say that she is more of a rock chick, but she still comes to all my concerts as a support and maybe that’s why I trusted her with my secret.
