Chapter 2

Jaymi P.O.V

“Uhm, JJ? Can I talk to you for a second?” I asked the oldest one of us. “Sure Jaymi! What’s up?” He smiled at me. That smile. He is gonna be the end of me, they all are. “Not here… In private?” “Sure.”

We walked out of the dressing room and down the halls of the venue until we reached a silent hallway.

“Okay will you tell me what’s up now?” I had no idea how to tell him, but I have to. “I… I…I…” I stuttered, unable to form the words I desperately wanted to get off my chest. “For God sake Jaymi, just bloody tell me already!” JJ whisper-screamed at me. “Okay, okay… Oli broke up with me… There I said it, happy now?” “Of course not, Jaymi! Oh my God, are you okay? What happened?” Tears started to fall down my cheeks, as JJ pulled me into his strong arms. He always gives the best hugs. That’s why I chose to tell him first.

“Not really, no. He said… He thinks I’m in love with someone else.” The tears increased and were now falling heavily down my red cheeks as JJ pulled me closer. “Aw Jaymi, I’m so, so sorry! I wish I could do something to cheer you up, but I can’t think of anything right now… Maybe you should tell Josh and Georgie?” “Yeah… I probably should.”

George P.O.V

Josh and I were aimlessly walking around the venue, when we heard Jaymi and JJ talking in an empty hallway in the furthest corner of the place.

“…Oli broke up with me… There I said it, happy now?” Jaymi said. I gasped and so did Josh. How can you even think about breaking up with someone as amazing as Jay?

“Of course not, Jaymi! Oh my God, are you okay? What happened?” JJ asked concern clear in his voice. “Not really, no. He said… He thinks I’m in love with someone else.”

Wait, that means that Jaymi is single! That means I might have a shot!! No bad George, do not think about that now!!

Josh looked relieved beside me, maybe he likes Jay too?

“Aw Jaymi, I’m so, so sorry! I wish I could do something to cheer you up, but I can’t think of anything right now… Maybe you should tell Josh and Georgie?” JJ said. “Yeah… I probably should.”

“No need, we already heard!” Josh walked around the corner, pulling me with him. The second I saw Jaymi with tears streaming down his face, I ran towards him and pulled him into a hug.

“Oli was an idiot for leaving you, Jay!” Josh said, pulling Jaymi and me into his arms. “He sure was!” JJ added and joined our group hug.

“Thanks guys, what would I do without you?” Jaymi smiled through his tears. “You would drown in tears probably!” Josh giggled, making the rest of us laugh.
