Sam impatiently sat waiting for Aaron to get back from walking their golden retriever puppy, Elphie. Her surprise was all set, all she had to do was wait for him to find it. They got back and Elphie excitedly jumped all over Sam.
"What's the plan for dinner?" Aaron asked as he watched them play on the floor.
"I think there's a pizza in the freezer." She was laying on the ground with Elphie on top of her, licking her face.
"Oh, I'm into that." He left the room and went into the kitchen. Sam quickly stood and scooped Elphie up and stood in the door way to watch him find the surprise. He took his time unwrapping the pizza, but finally had it ready to go in the oven. She watched with glee as he opened the oven door to put in the pizza, and pulled out a bun.
"There's a bun in the oven." He said looking confused. The confusion lasted only a second, then a smile stretched across his face. "You're pregnant?" He laughed.
She smiled and nodded, and Aaron crossed the room and picked her up, spinning her around the kitchen as they laughed and kissed, then laughed again.
