Chapter 28

I had fallen asleep; I was lying next to Damien. His eyes were closed. We had both let sleep take over us.

I was laying in his bed naked. I had the covers over me. I tried to move but my body was sore.

He had taken me more than once; I was his in that moment of heat. I couldn't tell what time it was since he didn't have a clock in his room, and the bedroom shades were closed.

I slowly stretched out my aching muscles and sat up on the bed. I looked around his room scanning the floor for my clothes.

I grabbed my underwear and slipped then on. I managed to put on my bra, pants and shoes without making a lot of noise, I didn't want to wake up Damien. All I wanted was to go home. I pulled my phone out of my jean pocket.

12 missed called from Chase.
4 unheard voicemails.
7 unread text messages from Chase.

I looked around a little more trying to find my shirt.

I couldn't find it anywhere. Finally, I just decided on putting one of Damien's shirts. It fit me almost like a dress, the shirt went all the way down to my knees.

I turned around and saw that Damien was still sleeping, he must be tired.

I walked straight to his bedroom door and onto the hallway.

I hope his mom and stepdad aren't here to witness my walk of shame. So far no one seemed to be home.

I tipped toed down the stairs, finally I was almost free.

Key word almost.

I reached the front door and opened it.

"Who are you why are you in my house." A lady with jet black hair was walking into the same room. She was very beautiful, slim she had a creamy complexion, she was very petite, she looked to be my height.

"Uhh, I'm sorry I'm Emma, Damien's friend." I had never been caught by a guy's mom before, well I hadn't had a boyfriend so that I could be caught. I felt as if I had a light shining over my head, about to be interrogated. "Damien fell asleep, and I'm sorry but I have to go."

I slid my way out the front door and ran to my car, not looking back.

Because trust me my face probably resembled a tomato in the moment.

I opened my driver's side door and slid inside. Before closing the door, I managed to hear Damien's mom yelling for him to go downstairs. I put the keys in the ignition and turned on my car. Backing out of the driveway I went full speed as soon as I was on the road. I felt like I couldn't get away from there fast enough.

I managed to reach my house in 20 min, at the speed that I was going helped. It was dark outside already. I glanced at the time on my car.

7pm.

I was sitting in my car parked in the driveway of my house. The light was on in the living room.

I got out of the car and made my way to the front door and opened it.

In the living room was Jason and Matt, they were playing a game on Jason's play station 4, from the looks of the game it had zombies that were dressed as if they were Nazis.

"Don't you have homework?" I scratched my nose as I saw 3 empty pizza boxes on the floor.

"It's none of your business, plus where were you." He paused the game, causing Matt to groan.
