You shove him off angrily.
"What are you doing?!?" you ask, bright red and ready to start swinging if necessary. Loki laughed, leaning back into his own seat.
"I simply granted your request. Now, all you must do is think a simple incantation and you will be able to hear, as you call it, 'your music' whenever you wish," he explained, grinning at you smugly.
"You could have warned me, Loki!" you exclaim. He grinned.
"But then it wouldn't have been as fun," he pouted. "Besides, I still have to tell you the incantation. Come here, Y/N." He leaned over. You tentatively lean towards him. He leaned towards your ear, so close you could feel his lips brush your skin as he spoke. He whispered the incantation in your ear.
"La det bli sang," he said, and you shiver.
"Th-thanks," you say, leaning back. "Can we go now?"
"Of course, duckling," he said, smiling.
"Okay then," you say, starting the car and pulling off the verge.

You arrive at Jasmyn's diner about ten minutes later. "Here we are," you sigh, parking in your usual spot. "Sassy Jassy, the diner with the best grilled cheese this side of the Golden Gate Bridge."
"Grilled cheese? How does one grill cheese? Would it not just melt?" Loki asked, clearly confused. You laugh.
"It's a type of sandwich, Loki. You put the slice of cheese between two slices of bread and then you grill it," you explain through your giggles.
Loki laughed. "That does make much more sense," he said, exiting the car. You follow suit. You lead the way into the diner, knocking on the door as you enter.
"Oh Jaaaaaasmyn!" you call, sitting up at the counter. "Come ooooooout here!"
Loki sat next to you, putting his chin in his hand, propping up his head with his arm.
"What, Y/N? Does Lizzy want grilled cheese again? I've told here before, she can wait until I get ho-" Jasmyn said, walking out of the kitchen. "Oh, who's this? Does Y/N finally have a date?" she teased.
"Yes, Y/N does," Loki replied with a grin before you could answer. You blink over at him.
Date? You thought this was just a getting-to-know-you drink. Oh, right. That's what a first date is.
"And you are...?" Jasmyn asked, pouring them both glasses of water.
"Loki," he replied, running his fingers through his hair.
"Wow, your parents must have hated you," Jasmyn chuckled.
"You have no idea," Loki said quietly. You roll your eyes.
"Can we get two Coke's please, Jaz?" you ask, changing the subject.
"If course, Y/N," she said, waiting until Loki turned towards you before putting a heart around the two of you.
"I swear, my friends are gonna give me an aneurysm someday," you groan.
