I feel my heart pounding immensely as I got to Perrie's place. My knuckles were continously banging on the window pane as I waited for someone to answer.

And thankfully Cailtin was here.
Through the glass I could see a blank expression written on her face.

" Hey Jade," she greeted me as she widened the door. "Aren't you supposed to be in class?"

" I am. But I had an emergency. It's to do with our Music task. What about you?" I ask as I remove my shoes.

"I had to stay behind."

"Why?" I ask.

Her arm entended to Perrie's door.
"Her Dilated Cardiomyopathy's back."

My jaw dropped and my bag fell off my shoulders. "No." I say shaking my head.

I run to her room and open the door to find her on her bed. She had a pen and a stack of paper beside her.

I shut the door behind me and rush to her side. " Baby. Why didn't you tell me?" I cry as I run my fingers through her soft blonde hair.

"I didn't want you to stay behind because of me," she cooed through her mask.

"I was worried sick." I answer as I placed soft kisses on her forehead.

"I know you were," she smiled. " How was music?"

"Emotional," I chuckle as I was slowly calming down. "I went through your songs babe. And guess what?"

"What?"

"They were beautiful." I smile.

"Because they were inspired by the only girl that stayed by my side through every attack, injury, school speech, and school carnival," she laughed. " But more importantly. The only person I fell in love with all these years. I have to stay it was unexpected but I couldn't ask for anyone better."

I feel more tears well as I hold onto her hand. "Thank you. And yeah it was totally unexpected," I laugh. " Bet the universe wanted two little Geordie girls together."

" You're welcome buba."

" No. Thank you," I answer as I place my thumb right under her eyes and wiped away her tears. " Now. What have you been up to?"

She shook her head. " Nothing much. Just composing another song."

"Well your songs are beautiful Perrie. But is it another ballad?," I laugh. " I've been an emotional wreck thanks to your songs."

She shook her head yet again, as she picked up the paper. " Take a look."

" Love Me Like You. Sounds very pop."

" Well obviously," she answered through her mask. " I don't need it to be another ballad bout my girlfriend."

" Girlfriend? I thought we were MU's?" I ask confusingly.

" Well I decided to change it. Because I'm not a normal girl. I have a sickness that can't be cured. You know that. And I want to spend my next few years as your girlfriend other than a MU."

" That's cute Perrie," I smile. "And I'd be honoured. But please babe. Don't say that. You're strong. And I hope you will be for me?"
