Accidentally Good & Bad

okay so lately i've been getting lots of comments saying that this book is a copy of TGGBB, a book by a very talented author. and i've said this before, but i'm going to say this again because no one is hearing it. 

i privately messaged the author of TGGBB before i started this book to get permission to write a book based off of TGGBB. she gave me the good to go. 

this book has similar ideas to TGGBB. i used knowledge of the book to create this book and build off of it in ways i would create. yes there are some very harsh similarities, but guess what?! i'm going back and fixing them. here is a list of mistakes/'copies' that i'm going to fix.

1) the whole bullied since forever thing. i'm literally changing it because it holds too much of a harsh similarity to TGGBB. i hope this pleases most of you.

2) i will change devon's last name. when i was thinking of last names, i didn't realize that devon's last name was a first name for one of the the characters of TGGBB. bennett's name was in my subconscious and i guess it just popped up. i apologize for that. devon's new last name is scott. i will also change devon's first name. it holds a resemblance to declan. devon's new name will be archer. archer scott. totally badass in my opinion haha!

3) okay, i realize that the name parker is also the name of a character in TGGBB. but what so many of you don't understand is that i did not steal the name parker from TGGBB. parker is not a created name with legal ties to TGGBB. it is a REAL name. i got the name parker from my best friend's little brother. 

4) the very beginning (like the first five chapters or so) hold striking similarities to TGGBB and i'm going to fix those. 

i realize my mistakes, but for those who are commenting relentlessly at me calling me a fake, a copier, and full on screaming hate at me don't even bother to read the rest of the book. because if they did, they would realize that past the first few chapters the book is nothing like TGGBB. because if my memory is correct, there was never a character named will who dated a girl named chloe who cheated on him, there was never a car accident or a coma, and there was never a runaway girl or a discovery of a new sister. 

i know many of you (or many of you who think i stole the book) think that parker is the jordan to manhattan's naomi. because it has become somewhat clear that jordan and naomi will be together in the end (or so most are holding out for). if you had continued on reading the book to see the book becomes it's own, manhattan ends up with devon. 

there are similarities in the book, i will admit. that i apologize thoroughly for. i promise to fix them. i'm going through all of the chapters to fix any similarities. but i refuse to apologize for creating a book based off of a book i enjoyed, with an approval from the writer who wrote the book i based mine off of, and writing MY own ideas from it.
