The Fate of Minecraftia (Sequel to A Minecraft Story)

Nomis's Point of View

Nomis, Chick, and NinjaX put their hands up slowly. The group of police officers stared at them, guns or swords pointed.

"Step out of the garden!" one of them yelled. He seemed nervous. They all seemed nervous. Nomis wondered why.

X, Chick, and Nomis slowly walked out of the garden. Nomis hid the Legend Crystal in her inventory. They stepped over the fence, and were now about ten blocks from the police. Nomis heard the faint sound of helicopter blades whirring, and assumed that was where the police had come from.

"You are coming with us!" the same police officer shouted. He and two others stepped forward with handcuffs.

"What do we do?" Chick whispered to Nomis as the officers walked towards them.

Nomis was thinking rapidly. They couldn't be sent to jail. Not now. They were in the middle of a war.

Before she could think of anything, and when the three police officers were almost upon them, the whirring helicopter blades grew much louder.

And then, there was an explosion at their feet.

Nomis, X, and Chick dove in different directions. The three police officers did as well, although one of them just flopped onto the ground and put his hands over his head.

Nomis looked up to find the helicopter flying very low to the ground. She knew that wasn't a police helicopter.

Tyler was inside, grinning maniacally. Nomis had forgotten about him; forgotten about the other three below them as well.

Tyler shot another missile, aimed at X, since he was the closest. X dove out of the way, and the missile blew a hole in the fence.

"Open fire!" Nomis heard one of the police officers command. They started shooting at the helicopter with their redstone rifles.

Nomis sighed. The bullets harmlessly bounced off the helicopter. And now Tyler was turning it so he could face the police officers.

Nomis was too far away to do anything. The police squadron was about to be blown to pieces.

She didn't have to do anything, though, because someone else did.

Grand--who they had left above while they searched for the Legend Crystal--was running up from behind the helicopter. Since it was flying low to the ground, he was able to open the door and jump inside, unnoticed.

Before Tyler could fire at the police officers, Grand tackled him out of his chair.

Nomis couldn't see what was happening inside now, but the helicopter swung around wildly as someone's foot hit the controls.

The police officers watched in confusion. They stopped shooting, but they also didn't turn back to Nomis, X, and Chick.

Now was their chance.

"Come on!" Nomis shouted. She started running back in the direction that she was pretty sure led to Creektown.

X and Chick ran after her. Nomis stopped before she left the park, realizing she forgot about Grand, and didn't even know where Audrey, Matster and Pete were.
