The Fate of Minecraftia (Sequel to A Minecraft Story)

Narrator's Point of View

Hayden, Diamond, Kat, Mimi, Cyril, Shaina, Drew, and K.G appeared in a small room made out of nether brick. It had three open doorways connecting to it. Directly in front of the portal was a doorway that led to a large open plain of netherrack. Nether brick bridges connected with the plain in other places. To the left and right of the portal were hallways leading into a Nether fortress, which had already been explored by the Resistance before.

"Alright. Like Steve said, we're here to get a Ghast tear, nothing else," Excalibur, a.k.a. Hayden, said, looking around at everyone. His eyes lingered on Diamond. "Keep your weapons ready."

"Uh, did anyone bring a bow?" Drew asked, turning his iron sword in hand. "We kinda need that to kill a Ghast."

Everyone looked at Kat, who was usually the archer. She shrugged. "I didn't bring it. I have this." She held up the Ender hand she collected from the mutant Enderman.

"I brought mine," Cyril said, showing them her bow and arrows. "Between Kat and I, we got this."

"I don't see any Ghasts out there," K.G said from near the doorway across from the portal. "There are a ton of Pigmen, though."

The other seven Resistance members walked over to see. Indeed, there were no Ghasts in sight, but at least fifty Zombie Pigmen were ambling around on the netherrack plain.

"Let's avoid the pigs." Shine pointed out the obvious.

"As long as we leave them alone and focus on finding the Ghast, we shou--DIAMOND!" Hayden shouted.

Diamond was on the netherrack plain, charging at a Zombie Pigman with his enchanted diamond sword raised.

"What is he doing?!" Mimi exclaimed in horror.

"Zombie Pigmen killed everyone in his village," Hayden explained with a sigh. "He wants to kill every one he sees."

Diamond struck a Pigman on the back of the head with his sword. It squealed in pain, and turned around.

The other fifty Zombie Pigmen on the plain turned towards Diamond as well.

Kat raised the Ender hand, and a chunk of netherrack was lifted up from the plain, taking a few Pigmen with it. But that wasn't enough.

"Find the tear," Hayden ordered. "We can handle this." He unsheathed his double bladed staff and charged down the plain to help Diamond. Kat walked down there as well, moving the Ender hand with netherrack chunks as she went.

The other five looked at each other.

"I guess we should split up," K.G suggested.

"That's never a good idea," Mimi replied, but the others had already agreed. Drew ran down the hallway to the left. Shine and Cyril ran down the hallway to the right. K.G followed the two girls.

Mimi sighed and followed Drew down the left hallway.

Diamond slashed through the first Zombie Pigman he had attacked with his enchanted diamond sword called Undead's Fear. The Pigman died. Diamond felt a wave of satisfaction as he turned to take on the next Pigman.
