The Fate of Minecraftia (Sequel to A Minecraft Story)

Sector 13

Nomis's Point of View

Steve and Jay charged towards each other in a large stone cavern, weapons up. Herobrine floated behind them, doing nothing. Steve and Jay ignored him and battled.

Nomis jolted upright in bed. She took in her surroundings, breathing heavily.

She was still on the bed in Madge's cave. Madge and Kylee were staring at her.

"Madge. I know I need to heal. But I need to help Steve and Jay right now!" Nomis exclaimed.

Madge and Kylee glanced at each other, then back at Nomis. "I know."

Nomis faltered. "So...I can go?"

Madge nodded. Kylee was looking at Nomis strangely. Her face looked almost sympathetic.

"Why wouldn't you let me go before, but you'll let me go now?" Nomis asked.

Madge hesitated. Kylee turned away like she didn't want Nomis to see her face.

"What is going on?" Nomis asked.

The old Witch sighed. "The stab through your back was too much for you. You're going to die in an hour."

Nomis's eyes widened. She had killed Light, but Light had succeeded at killing her as well.

"Can't you give me some potion to stop that?" Nomis asked.

Madge shook her head, a grave expression on her face. "The spear ruptured your de-aging nerves. You're going to die of old age. Even a reviving potion can't bring you back."

Nomis was silent. She had lived for over fifty years thanks to her de-aging potions. But now, they were going to kill her.

"I'm sorry, Nomis," Madge added. "There's nothing we can do."

There were lots of thoughts going through Nomis's head. She could barely process them all. But one thought stuck out.

"Then I need to save my friends before I die."

Madge nodded. She turned around and started to rummage through a chest. Nomis stood up. She looked at her reflection in a mirror.

It was true. Nomis could already tell she looked older than before. She could pass as forty years old.

"You're going to need these," Madge said. She held out three potions. Two of them were teleportation.

"I won't need to teleport back," Nomis replied, taking one teleportation potion and the third potion.

"It's not for you," Madge said, putting the other teleportation potion in her hands. Nomis nodded and put it in her inventory.

"Thank you for being like a mother to me," she whispered to the Witch.

Madge held Nomis's face in her hands and stared into her eyes.

"Go save your friends."

Nomis was about to drink one of the teleportation potions when she saw Kylee watching her, tears in her eyes.
