❣️AMELIA TAYLOR❣️
"So, tell me, who was that girl sitting in the car at your place?" Logan asked as he ate some of his pasta that he ordered. My eyes widened and I nearly choked on a bit of my food.
Normally, she tells everyone her name and if she's single, it's surprising she didn't tell him.
"She didn't tell you?" I questioned but he only shook his head and took another bite of his food. While I just picked at mine.
He took me to a very expensive restaurant and I want to eat my spaghetti, but I'm not hungry. Every time I put some of it near my mouth, I just feel as if I'm going to throw up, and in this restaurant, I really don't think I want to do that.
I honestly feel bad for it.
And I'm a bit embarrassed because I'm not wearing clothes that scream 'I can afford this'. Every now and then I would catch a glare from people eating, mostly from women.
"Her names Nicole, she's two-faced, selfish, a drama queen and a huge bitch." I said angrily ask I stabbed my spaghetti with my fork.
"Sounds like you don't like her." He chuckled, taking a sip of his drink.
I shook my head and crinkled my nose in disgust but a smirk took over, "Let's just say I strongly dislike her."
We both laughed, and they were genuine laughs as well, which is unusual for me since I never laugh. But Logan, he brings out the best of me sometimes.
He smiled, "You know, she told me you needed a place to stay." My eyebrows furrowed and I dropped my fork on my plate.
Why did she do that?
She told him, I need a place to stay?
That cow!
I bet she wants me out of the house, for good and never to return back home. She'll rub in the fact that she has a home and I don't.
I picked up my fork and started stabbing a meatball angrily and I frowned at it. I guess I saw the meatball as her head and all I wanted to do was stab her over and over again with a fork.
"I don't need a place to stay." I mumbled, looking down at the crushed meatball and resting my head on my hand.
"I mean, if you do you can stay at my place." He suggested, I looked up at him and smiled.
I mean, it's nice that he's offering me a place but for now, I think I'll just stay at my house until I actually am getting kicked out, and I guarantee that'll be in a few days.
"I'll be fine for now." I mumbled again, eating a tiny piece of the crushed meatball.
There was silence but it wasn't awkward silence, it was comfortable, it was peaceful. I guess he could kinda understand why my sister would say I need a place because you don't need to enter the house to see what the inside was like.
I pushed my plate away from me, "Aren't you going to eat that?" Logan asked as he looked at me with sadness in his eyes. It wasn't sadness because I was wasting his money on the expensive food, but because I didn't eat anything.
