Lost Without You

I let out a loud growl as Amelia's father got closer and closer to me.

"I'm not scared of anything anymore Amelia. I've learnt that I can protect myself without the help of Jules."

"W—Who's Jules?" She asked, her voice shaking as much as her body.

"Don't ask questions!" He shouted causing Amelia to flinch, her reaction only feeling my anger towards her father. The one man who's supposed to love forever no matter what.

But what can I say, my father was never around when my mother rejected him. It sent the whole pack into sadness, it was a really terrible time.

"I'm going to hurt you Amelia. I'm going to hurt you so badly you'll wish you're dead." He smirked and pulled out a knife.

"N–No!" She screamed and continued to walk backwards.

I let out a really loud growl as soon as my eyes met his.

I closed the distance between Amelia's dad and I and lunged at him. But before my teeth into his neck, he slashed my side and I went tumbling to the ground.

I let out a loud whimper as I tried to move around, to protect my mate.

My Amelia.

Those two words were enough to help me stand back up. Despite the pain coming from my side and the black spots starting to cover my vision.

Amelia's father came over to me, kicked my side and as I fell over he stood on my front left paw. A sickening sound came from it and I couldn't stop crying from the pain.

I swear he broke my arm.

"Be a good boy and stay where you." His voice sounded as if none of this happened.

He stood up, walked over to a shaking and crying Amelia and picked her up, he through her over his shoulder as she kicked and screamed.

He dropped her and kicked her ribs, she rolled over and cried. He grabbed her arm and started pulling her away, she continued to cry and thrash around but he only stopped her again and cut her arm with the knife.

She stopped and let him take her away.

My Amelia was being taken away by a psychopath. I let her slip right through my hands, I couldn't protect her.

'J. . . Jayce, I can't st. . . stay in wolf. . . form any. . . more. . .'

'It's ok Luca, you can shift.'

And he did. My human form was just as tired as my wolf was. My side had a massive cut along it and my left arm was broken. But this should go away soon since I'm a wolf and can heal quickly.

'Jayce don't beat yourself up because Amelia got taken, you tried your hardest.'

'Yeah, but not hard enough. Once I'm healed I'm looking for her.'

'I definitely won't stop you from finding her, but what changed your mind?' He asked, but I didn't know what he was talking about.

I don't know if that's because I'm just completely out of it or because I just don't understand Luca anymore.

'What do you mean Luca?'

'I'm mean your were being nice to Amelia, normally you're always so mean and annoying but you tried to protect her.'

'Luca, I don't know what to think anymore. I love her but if I'm with her, I'm afraid that I won't be able to protect her.'
