Another AU Lapidot

I'm rly angry and jealous rn so i'm sorry if this chapter is bad and seems poorly written. wait, that's every chapter. wink wonk.

Peri's POV

   I gaped as I watched Lapis quickly run down the hall, and slide into a classroom. Amethyst started laughing hard and I even heard Pearl chuckle. I groaned and flicked Amethyst's forehead. "You and Pearl should stop holding hands before they meld together." I said, smirking. They blushed heavily and stopped holding hands, looking away from each other and grumbling. I smirked and went to my class.

   I was having a staring contest with the clock, waiting for it to ring so we could go to lunch. I was tapping my fingers against the desk. I had my bag in my hand and finally, the bell rang. I grinned and ran to my locker, putting my stuff away before quickly going to
the lunchroom. I didn't ever get lunch, but I just loved to talk to my friends. I saw Amethyst waving me over to a table with Pearl, Garnet, a tall chick with an afro, sunglasses, and a slight British accent, and... Lapis? I felt my eyebrows kinda furrow in confusion but I ran over to sit by them before anyone else took the seat. Lapis winked at me and I felt heat rise to my cheeks. Amethyst snickered and I flipped her off. Suddenly, Amethyst cleared her throat and got everyone in the cafeteria  to look at her.
"Yes everyone in the Crystal Gems, I would like to introduce our new member, Lapis Lazuli, and Peridot Diamond!" She yelled. She pulled Lapis to her feet and Garnet pushed me up. A lot of people clapped and a few booed. Oh yeah, I forgot. This school was parted into two groups. The Homeworld Gems, and the Crystal Gems. The rest were neutral. Me and Lapis stared at each other and shrugged before sitting back down. Garnet gave me and Lapis a jacket with a huge star on the back. I smiled at it and Lapis looked confused. Amethyst just grinned and punched her shoulder. I laughed and they ate the rest of their lunch in silent, but I just stared at my jacket and smiled. It felt good to be accepted. Like, super fucking good. Garnet saw me smiling and gave me a motherly like hug before patting my head.
