Another AU Lapidot

so, sorry for not updating for a while. here ya go.

Peridot woke up, hugging Lapis close to her. She groaned and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, looking up at her girlfriend who was staring at the T.V.. Peridot raised an eyebrow and looked at the screen, which was showing some horror movie. Peridot squeaked and hid under the blanket, as she despised horror movies. Lapis turned her attention to her small girlfriend hiding under the blankets and chuckled.

"Oh no, where'd Peridot go?" Lapis asked, sarcasm dripping from her words. Her response was a soft, muffled whimper. Lapis sighed and took the blankets off of Peridot and kissed her forehead. The small girl sighed and pressed herself to Lapis.

"I fuckin' hate horror movies." Peridot muttered, getting a chuckle from the bluenette that was hugging her. "Yeah, I can tell, Peri." Lapis responded. Peridot growled softly at the nickname and playfully glared at her. All Lapis did was kiss her nose and chuckle again.

"Hey, this movie is pretty damn good though. You sure you don't wanna watch it with me?" Lapis asked. Peridot sighed and shrugged, cuddling up to Lapis and fixing her eyes onto the screen, where Lapis was rewinding it to the beginning.

As the movie went on, Peridot barely paid attention to it. She had her eyes on her girlfriend's face that showed happiness and contentment. One of Peridot's hands reached up and she traced her lips and cheekbones with her thumb. The blue haired girl stared at her questionably while she just shrugged.

"Have I ever told you that you're like, really pretty?" Peridot asked, continuing to look over her face and all its details. Lapis blushed and shifted so they were both face to face, noses almost touching.

"Maybe a few times. I like hearing it though." Lapis said, smiling. Peridot smiled back and kissed her. "You're really pretty." Peridot murmured against her lips.
