Let Me In [YOONMIN]

Jimin's POV

What can I say? First day of college was absolute shit for me.
I was late, I couldn't find any of my classes and I got bullied by a junior that broke my glasses.

The audacity of some people is something I will never understand. I should've stood up for myself and demanded he replaces them, but I can't ask people for shit, even if it's their fault.

I've worked hard for everything I've accomplished so far. I want to be a singer, I didn't want an ordinary life like everyone else, but I knew I had to make my parents proud and get a college education as a backup if my original plans fail me.

I was a top student in high school so I got plenty of scholarships to cover my tuition at my dream college that had the best chorus group in the city of Seoul.

I had two friends that enrolled in the same college as me since they also wanted to follow the same path, we said that we'd want to start a group together.

Taehyung and Jungkook have been my best friends since middle school. We know everything about each other but they don't know one thing, they don't know that I'm attracted to guys. I've never had the courage to tell them and they always wondered why I never got a girlfriend in high school.

I always responded with, "I don't have time." or "school is most important." And shit like that, but I knew one day I'd have to tell them, but honestly, I think they already know. They are smart dudes.

Anyway, that rude junior cracked my glasses that were super expensive to get in the first place and then, I lost them that day too.

I went crazy looking for them but I had no luck.
I wasn't blind without them but it would be hard for me to see up at a board in class.

"Ugh, fuck. Now I need to somehow gather the money to get new ones." I groaned as I threw my bag on my bed and laid down.

"What happened Jimin?" Jungkook asked. He is also my roommate.

"Nothing. I just met someone so rude today."

"Oh, it happens." He said and came out of the bathroom.

"Where's Taehyungie at?" I asked as I pulled out my phone.

"I don't know, probably chasing chicks." He said and I laughed.

"He's such a fuckboy."

"I know. I can't wait to find the right girl, I'm so done with my fuckboy days..."

"Really? You mean it?" I teased.

"Yeah, I do." He cleared his throat. "Anyway, wanna go do something? I'm bored."

"Okay, lets go find Tae."

We walked out of our dorm and went across campus to see if Tae was anywhere nearby.
He texted us and told he was at one of the campus cafés.

"There you are!" I said excitedly as we entered the café.

"Hey guys!" Tae said, smiling at us.

"Taehyung, what have you been up to?" Jungkook asked.

Tae started talking about his day, but I zoned out and looked around the café and saw the boy that was rude to me earlier.

He was on his laptop, his headphones were on and he looked so focused on his work.

His eyes were so beautifully shaped, his cheeks were so fluffy and his brown hair looked really soft, you'd want to run your fingers through it.

He saw me and actually waved at me, then smiled. I would be lying if I didn't think he was extremely cute. But no, I had to hate him after what he did to me today.
