ACE (Jeff X Reader) ~The Death Card

                                                             ♡^▽^♡

As the girl spoken those three words, the expression of Jeff's face immediately darkened. Once he glanced back at the girl, his eyes glared with the most hatred in them, making the girl flinch.

"You made me kill him.." He whispered with the most venom in his voice.

"W-What do you mean?" The girl asked, her voice shook with fear.

"You made me kill him.. You made me kill everybody I loved.." He whispered, wrapped in his heavy dark thoughts.

"Jeff..?" The girl slowly reached an arm out to him, which seem to shake Jeff out of his thoughts.

Jeff shook his head, emerging himself out of his thoughts. "That's enough questions." He said.

The girl's eyes wandered towards Jeff's eyes, narrowing her eyes.

"Jeff, look. I know you're mad at me for moving away, and I'm sorry." The girl explained.

Jeff cut the girl off of her sentence by slamming his fist into the wall. "Sorry doesn't fix anything." He hissed.

Soon the girl could hear a soft drip and her eyes made their way towards the pavement floor, which was now covered with a tiny puddle of blood. The girl widened her eyes at Jeff's hand, which was smeared with his blood, and cracks of walls were covered on it.

"Jeff.." The girl whispered.

Jeff shook his head in pain and clutched his fist. "Just.. Don't talk about him.."

The girl looked closely at Jeff's face with amazement. Her mouth was agape wide with surprise and shock at the same time as she realized something she never knew could happen.

Jeff was crying.

Yes, Jeff was standing there, head low and clutching his bloody fist, tears dripping down his face. Suddenly, he began to feel weak and dropped onto both hands and knees shaking his head.

"Why did I kill him?" He said in a painful soft whisper. "Why?"

At that point, the girl didn't mind Jeff anymore. This was the Jeff she knew. The Jeff she had been friends for since they were children. Despite the chains that were pulling at the girl, she wrapped her arms around Jeff, hugging him tightly.

Jeff flinched, but didn't move. He let himself be wrapped around the content of longing love he had never felt for years. Tears wet the girl's dirty clothing, but she didn't mind. She slowly whispered, stroking Jeff's hair softly, "I'm sorry. I should've saved you from yourself. I should've never moved." She whispered softly. "I should've stayed with you."

This made Jeff cry harder, gripping the girl's clothing tightly like when he did with his brother, Liu. Memories suddenly flashed into Jeff's mind. Emotions, were filling in Jeff's heart. The burning sensation in his heart that wanted love.

Jeff stopped crying and wiped the tears off of his face, though his unblinking eyes were starting to dry off the tears away. The girl sat back down and slowly rubbed her bleeding wrists that were cut from the chains. The sudden reaction made Jeff look down at her wrists, which the girl quickly covered away.

"Jeff.." The girl whispered.

"Are you hurt?" Jeff asked, which surprised the girl.

"What about you?" The girl asked, her eyes shining with confusion.
