ACE (Jeff X Reader)- The Death Card
ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ (Gotta go fast >:3)
-WARNING: There might be some strong language ahead.-
"On the count of three?"
Nod.
"1.."
"2.."
"CHARGEEEE!!"
"Wait, I didn't even say three yet!" The clown shrieked, but it was too late, as the shackle pulled him along side with the girl, charging straight ahead.
The girl felt a surge of determination in her, as she rounded the corner, and narrowed to a stop, dragging the clown behind her.
"Jesus, you're fast." The clown panted.
But the girl didn't hear him. Her gaze was fixed upon the series of extreme obstacles they had to go in. "Do we have to go through all of that?" The girl whispered, her gaze still fixed.
"Ahh, for fuckssake." The clown muttered. "I'm gonna kill him for this."
The girl turned her head around. "Did he really say we have to go through this bare-handed? Don't we have like, any thing to prepare us? Like teleportation?"
The clown shook his head miserably.
The girl groaned. "I swear to God.."
"I hope I make it out alive.." The clown murmured under his breath.
The girl stared at him.
"What?"
"Are you seriously just thinking about getting yourself alive?" The girl spat.
The clown shrugged. "No shit. Let's just get this over with.."
The girl nodded.
So off they went, luckily for them, the first obstacle wasn't so hard or dangerous. It was just a mere ladder climbing underneath a bottomless pit.
"I'm scared of heights!" The clown shouted.
"Aren't you afraid of dying more?" The girl narrowed her eyes.
"Still!"
The girl mentally rolled her eyes. She pulled herself over the wall and stared down at the clown who was clutching the ladder for dear life. She pulled him up as well.
"Wow, you're heavy."
"Shut up. Keep moving."
The girl didn't know if it was true, but as they passed each obstacle, it felt like the chain of the shackle was getting longer, and it wasn't squeezing her wrist so much as before. The girl felt a tiny flame of hope as she kept moving along.
The girl had lost count of how many obstacles they had past, but it seemed to be getting harder.
The obstacle ahead was to jump onto moving blocks that seemed to jerk up and down each time.
"I'm going to throw up.." The clown muttered.
"We haven't crossed it yet." The girl said. "C'mon."
The clown sighed and stepped forward, dragging the girl along with him as they set foot into the bouncing platform. The first one was easy, but as soon as they started getting higher, they're statistics had to be exactly on-point.
