ACE (Jeff X Reader) ~The Death Card

                                                       (◕◞౪◟◕✿)

The girl stared at Jeff as he walked down the hallway and then skidded to a halt when he half turned his head to face hers. When the girl still didn't move, Jeff had to roll his eyes, but he couldn't roll them that far for his eyes began to sweat tears. He walked towards the frozen girl and tugged on her hand as he held it, pulling it towards him as he walked across the hallway.

He kept dragging the girl by her hand as they reached the front door and he unlocked it with a key from his back pocket. He could feel the girl's eyes trained on him as he uttered a low mutter. "Don't get any ideas," he warned.

He continued to drag the girl by the arm as he walked out the door along with the girl and walked a few yards away from the old house. He stopped dragging the girl, but he did not let go of her hand.

"What are you doing?" The girl quietly murmured, but Jeff heard her.

"Like I said, I'm teacing you how to be like me." He whispered back. "I have a friend who'll help us along the way," he added with a more sly tone.

The girl gulped. She hoped it wasn't like the friend Jeff had mentioned like the monochrome clown, LJ. As they both waited the girl scuffled her feet among the fallen leaves until Jeff let out a low whistle. "He's here."

The girl looked at Jeff before slowly glancing up at what Jeff was seeing. Eyes widening and her mouth opening slowly, she came across a dark figure in a black hoodie who was crouching above the treetops with very good accuracy, balancing itself along the thin branches of the trees.

Suddenly the girl felt as if she and the figure had met eyes as it slowly stood up and took a step forward, immediately plunging towards the ground. The girl shut her eyes, not bearing to see the scene, the figure being flattened as it fell. But silence fell. The girl slowly opened her eyes to see the figure standing upright with no injuries shown, stuffing it's hands into the pockets of the hoodie.

The figure took a step forwards towards the girl and tilted it's head at her, as if if wars studying about her. "So, this is the girl?" It asked softly.

The girl looked at the figure as well and realized that the figure was a male. His light brown shaggy hair was poking out of his hoodie, though he was wearing a blue mask with black sockets that appeared to be eyes, with black gooey liquid streaming out of it. The girl kept her gaze fixed on the mask.

"Yeah," the girl heard Jeff's voice behind her.

The male nodded before pulling out one of his hands out of his pocket, showing it to the girl's eyes which was a dark grey skin tone. "Name's Jack," he introduced himself.

'Another Jack?' The girl thought.

"Also known as Eyeless Jack, you might've heard the name LJ, or Laughing Jack from Jeff, haven't you?" He continued, as if he had read her mind.

The girl nodded in response, but said nothing.

"They call me Eyeless for a reason," he murmured quietly, slowly taking off his mask, showing her a horrific sight of his eyes being carved out and black liquid seeped out, just like the mask. The girl's eyes widened but she remained in place, not letting out a single noise.

The male gave her a few moments to take in the sight before he shielded his grey face away, shifting the mask back in place. "I'm surprised you didn't scream," he added with a more interesting tone. "You know," he said, turning to Jeff. "She's just my type," he added, looking back at the girl.

He lifted his mask again, but just above his lips as he let out a slow grin, showing her the sharpest teeth she had ever seen, and saw a bit of trace of flesh and blood, stained onto his teeth.

Jeff narrowed his eyes at the both of them, but said nothing. The black hooded male licked his lips, tracing it above his lips and teeth as he stepped forward towards the girl. Jeff tensed up as he watched them closely.

"I've never made a proposal to anybody," he continued, using his pointing finger to lift the girl's chin up, making her look at him. "May I have your kidneys?" He asked.

Silence fell as the girl tried to proceed what she had just heard. Both Jeff and the girl didn't say anything before Jeff took a step forward, using his body to shield the girl behind him. He glanced at the girl before looking at the smirking boy in front of him. "Don't touch her," he hissed.

The male looked surprised as he grinned, showing his sharp white teeth. "Oh come on Jeff," he said in a teasing tone. "How 'bout just one kidney?" He proposed.

Jeff shook his head, still denying. "No, EJ. She's mine for now. If she dies, I'll let you have her kidneys." He said.

The girl shot a disbelieving look at Jeff, which was ignored by him. "Aw," the male whined, still smirking. "Where's the fun in that?"

"You want kidneys or not?" Jeff shot back at him.

The male sighed back. "Fine," he said, giving up. But then, he flashed a look at the girl, making him grin again. "Hey," he nodded towards the girl. "You haven't introduced yourself to me yet."

Before the girl could reply, Jeff cut her off first. "Why do you need her name?" He hissed.

The girl had never seen Jeff got worked up like this before. She flashed a surprising and thankful look at Jeff.

"Why not?" The male swept on. He walked around Jeff and grabbed the girl by her arm, tugging her towards his direction, making her trip and collide into the male's chest, her face beginning to heat up.

"She's mine for the time being." He said, keeping Jeff quiet, though his eyes were blazing wildly with the fire inside them. To the girl, he added in a more soft tone. "Let's go." He tugged her by the arm, as he walked away from Jeff, dragging the girl along with him.

The girl casted a glance behind her, looking back at Jeff who was still frozen in place. She didn't say anything, just looking at him for a few moments, before looking back again, disappearing off into the heart of the woods with the dark hooded male.
