Journey Through the Omnipotent World

By sunrise i got up from the tree stepping over some animal corpses. i went back inside the area and gathered the two girls with wix to talk about the plan. "alright first we need to figure out where their bases are and then which one they my friend would be at. i know it would be better to attack all of their known bases, but i you guys can't give me any more of your men so we need to think this through carefully." i said looking at a globe of the planet plotting out points as Mai and Sora stay fixated towards either me or the globe. "i know there's one here and i think one might be around this area." Sora said. "there's one here." Mai said as they continued guessing where they may be. "okay that's enough we're just guessing, and even if these were right there would be no way to know without scouting the area. and it would take far too much time." i said walking out the door. "where do you think you're going?" Wix said blocking my face. "i'm gonna talk to Samantha or headmistress or whatever she's called to ask her where their bases may be." i said moving my head around Wix and going down the hallway towards Samantha's office. "welcome." Samantha said joyfully. "how's planning going with the girls?" she asked. "i need info on the bases location." i asked plainly. "well i'll tell you where the main ones are, don't you already know where they are? she asked. "no. i don't think i ever learned where the bases were? and if i did i forgot about it?" i said. "you know you can use your powers to give yourself a better memory right?" she asked curious. "yeah i know, i just don't want to that's all." i said. "well for a recap for me anyway. there are four main bases for Crossed Lines. each one is on the four edges to a map. there are smaller bases scattered all over the planet. you want to take the one in the top left here." Samantha said pointing to a flat map of the planet exactly where she had said. i saw a tiny island i had to zoom my vision in on in order to see it. "how'd they get so much detail on these things?" i asked. "this is a custom map for only me and chief. enough wasting time, you don't have long do you?" she asked concerned. "no, i think we have tonight as our best option right now." i said unsure of myself. "well, you better protect those girls with everything you've got. i'll never forgive you if they so much as lose a leg. they're tough girls though so being injured probably won't phase them. i hope." Samantha said relaxing her tense and fierce face into a more sympathetic one. "aright, now that we know what to do you think you can follow through?" i asked. it was later in the late afternoon preparing for the sun to go down so we would have a better chance at surprising them. "i think i got?" Sora said. "good because i'm not repeating it again we have one chance, that's it. we have no room for mistakes." i said. my heart was pumping with adrenaline. i normally get so nervous when i'm called on for class that thinking about leading two girls to their possible deaths made my heart beat even worse. i wouldn't have cared if they were the enemy or someone that i didn't make a promise to another person to keep them alive, but they weren't the enemy and i did promise to keep them alive. "alright you can change into whatever clothes you like, but it has to be colored dark so they can't spot you right away. once the fighting starts you can do whatever you want from there got it?" i asked. "yeah." Sora said nodding, Mai looked at me and then nodded. "okay let's put this into action." i said as Wix flew up into my pocket on my jacket. i took the map Samantha had and decided to use it to teleport. "this time." i thought. "i'll account for the world being round and where it would be on a globe." i had memorized the globe but figured to not for the map so it had a use in this mission. i closed my eyes and concentrated. i thought about the girls who were clinging on to me so they would also be teleported and suddenly we were in the middle of a forest with purple clouds looming over our heads. i looked behind us to see a castle surrounded by a concentration of the purple clouds almost swirling down to crush it. there was a wooden plank acting as a bridge to get to the castle, which had a huge open circle around it. i put two fingers up and pointed them like a gun in the direction i wanted Sora to head to and did the same for the opposite side. we were splitting up now going to have our plan set into motion. Sora was running through to the other side of the castle when she got cornered by people in black suits with weapons in their hands. they looked like a swat team mixed with secret service agents all carrying basic guns. one of them yelled freeze as Sora put her hands up. one of the men in the crowd walked a little closer, and Sora took hold of the guy and used his body as a meat shield and threw it away jumping over all of the men who were now starting to miss falling unconscious. Sora began running through the woods again to her position and got stopped right as she got where she needed to be by someone in a neon green tank top with roller blades and a helmet on. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?" the girl said. "outta my way." Sora said preparing for an all out brawl. "USELESS! MEN CAN NEVER DO ANYTHING THEMSELVES!" the rollergirl yelled looking at the knocked out men a few yards behind sora. on the other side of things Mai had easily dispatched the crowd blocking her path. as soon as they showed themselves Mai stood there like a statue and suddenly all of the people surrounding her had been cut in no lethal areas knocking them out too. As Mai began coming up to the side of the castle she needed to be a fancy British woman as far as i could tell had stopped Mai standing on top of the tower laughing awkwardly and saying "honestly, i can't believe Jesse actually got guard duty and stayed long enough to get in on the action? honestly, i never thought people would be so foolish to use a stupid and simple trick as using bait to let the third attacker inside to find that pathetic ram." the girl said. she seemed to be wearing a white blouse with an umbrella closed leaning on her shoulder, although it seemed out of place with the rest of her outfit, it looked like an umbrella a goth person or someone who's into stuff like purple skulls and vines with thorns as patterns for their umbrella. i scanned her for info silently and discovered her personality changes almost every 2 months, and her powers work as opposite to what her personality is. so right now she's acting as a 'classy' and 'petite' lady, but her powers and likes are that opposite and although i don't think goth would be exactly opposite to that it sure is close. as Mai and Sora began to fight the guards i made myself cloaked and decided wix should stay in the forest and hide somewhere safe and not come out until i told her to. "watch out Mai." i said explaining the girls powers through telepathy. i'd made a link with the girls that only us three and wix could use, but we decided only to use it if it's something important. i made my way through the gate of the castle. inside there was another forest going up a hill i could see the inner layer where the real building was. i made my way as far as i could go hiding behind trees and avoiding any soldiers who might be out. i made it almost to the top of the hill when i heard something get closer to me, it sounded like it came from the sky when suddenly a cloud of dust and smoke started to almost blind me when i saw something crash to the ground. it was a man in a superhero or super villain pose down on one knee with one fist on the ground and the other on his leg using it to force himself back up. as the dust and smoke cleared i knew who it was. it was the man in white still in a clean outfit even after doing something that should've made some dirt get on him. i thought of a purple flame being lit once again and began stepping close to the man, but i was stopped in my tracks before i even moved more than an inch from my spot with a hand up to my throat. "now let me introduce myself villain. my name is Akio." Akio said. i backed away as Akio let his guard down giving me a chance to pace a few steps back. suddenly my mind began slipping to a more permanent side effect, insanity. i started seeing blood and red giving me a headache. i looked at Akio standing in front of me i saw him switching back and forth from his normal cocky smile clean, with a version of him still smiling and bloody. i blew out the flame in my head quickly and decided to put more defenses up in my head so Akio couldn't find a weakness to slip through. "heh, you truly are the villain of this story aren't you? what's your name?" he asked. "Jake." i said still holding my hand up to my head struggling to keep my sanity. "well Jake, looks like i win." Akio said as i found myself staring him down in a completely white room. "wait this is my.." i said as he finished my sentence. "mind? yes you thought you were clever coming up with a way to seal special memories you'd rather keep locked away didn't you?" Akio said pleased with himself. "this place was mean't to be impossible to make it to the goal. but now you're weakened and didn't take into account of intangibility." Akio said looking straight up at the white triangle spinning around the center of the room high in the middle. Akio jumped up and started flying passing through the triangle going directly into it as i followed along unable to push myself too much. he was too fast for me while i struggled to pass through each different shape as the rooms began getting smaller and smaller until we had to shrink ourselves to get through the rooms,i had been using the green flame of will to get by through the rooms too. finally we came upon a room with a tiny circle in the middle only big enough to be held in a persons hand, even though we were much tinier now the sphere would be tinier than a persons hand in real size. Akio shrunk himself and went into it. i followed him as i watched in horror as he released the binds to my locked memories. they scattered all over the place messing with my mind even further unable to control anything now. we were now back into reality i fell on my knees in the same way Aito did, except my head lifeless had nodded down towards the floor broken and defeated. rain had started to fall down from the sky. "how ironic to fall in a similar manner to the one that you mercilessly killed." Akio said holding out his palm. "now that you're truly broken, i'll mess with your mind which you're so proud of it seems." Akio said and with that he clenched his hand into a fist, as a lightning bolt streaked across the sky,i looked my head up as much as i could to see him aiming his fist at my forehead and suddenly my emotions began to stir. not one, not two, not three, but every possible emotion erupted into my mind forcing me into pain as i could do nothing but hold my head and squirm around, my body felt like it was on fire and my heart felt like ripping out of my chest. my mind was being confused by so many memories i had once forgotten and emotions i never wanted to feel all at once. it was enough to make anyone go insane or collapse dead on the ground within seconds. i only kept going because i still had a small amount of willpower left to keep me alive for a minute. once i was ready to fall to the ground after a minute had passed i began screaming as an explosion of black and white surrounded us for a few seconds, but within those few seconds i felt something heavy on my back "no, two things?" i thought only managing that out as memories and emotions raced my mind. whatever was on my back had some sort of independence to them, i thought as clear i could and focused on them folding up to my shoulders. that's when i found out wings had sprouted from my back, their feathers were black and gray and seemed ready to fall off. i looked over to see Akio in pain as two white feathery wings sprouted from his back causing him pain and folding in the position mine were in. i looked around as i saw where we had been teleported to. half of the room once peaceful looking and serene. the other half of the room was the exact opposite, it was painted gray instead of the other room which was painted white. the unpleasant side had gray fire rising from the ground with others things all over the place. i couldn't even describe the sounds coming from a door on the other side. i noticed the walls and floors to the unpleasant side slowly creeping over picking up pace engulfing the serene side of the room making it completely hellish. "where are we?" Akio asked after calming down from the pain. "this is my mind, or at least what's left of it." i said realizing where we were. my mind had calmed down now since there was nothing left. "you! i'll kill you here and now!" Akio said as a pure white aura surrounded his body while he swiped his hands to his side straightening them with an aura covering them making them take the shape of blades. i instinctively made the same movements except my aura was different, in my mind i had thought of a model of a human's body with two colors separating it. the right side of the body was white and the other black. this led me focusing the yin-yang soul, a soul which is the combination of both the black flame and white flame. we let our wings expand as if second nature and began rushing toward each other with our hands clashing against each other causing black and white lightning to clash outwards. while we were fighting in my mind Mai and Sora's fights had already begun. Sora was using a squirrel shield made of a bunch of squirrels to defend from an attack from the roller blade girl, which i later found out her name was Jesse. Jesse had been skating around Sora waiting for her to get Sora from behind. Jesse was sending some sort of energy towards her opponent from the bottom of her roller blades. "come, help me meeno!" Sora said as a loud roar came from the forest. a large Minotaur stomped out of the forest. "what do you wish of me to do, my mistress?" the Minotaur asked through telepathy. "i need you to hold her off while i regain some of my energy back please. i need to prepare for summoning 'him'." she said as she back off letting the squirrels disappear into nothing. "are you sure you want to use 'him'? it will drain you of everything you got afterwards." the Minotaur asked. "i know but we have to win this fight and hope Jake made it inside by now." Sora said. over at the battle with Mai who had some sort of marking in her eye. the marking looked like some sort of sharingan from Naruto except her eyes were already pure black and the marking was a white outline in the shape of a Jewish star. the forest had busted into black flames. "die." Mai said coldly to the girl i later will know as Tomaki. Tomaki was using her Gothic umbrella to block the black fire from reaching her. "no." Tomaki said launching the fire at Mai as they ran side by side each other around the castle. they were moving quicker than i usually do with my speed, i could barely tell where they were. while Akio and I fought clashing our hand blades together i thought back to the moment earlier today before we discussed the plan. i had just walked into the room and viewing the girls choice of outfits. Mai had dark blue almost black short hair,which i was guessing she changed it somehow, with a japanese school uniform on, which was just a tan sweater and white t-shirt underneath and a red tie. she was also wearing an ocean blue skirt on. Sora on the other hand had stuck to wearing camo, except it was in the form of a t-shirt with casual jeans and long blonde hair. the two girls were standing there waiting for me to say something. "right shall we begin going over the plan?" i asked. we both sat down talking about what we were supposed to do. i thought about that and how i was supposed to be in and out of the castle by now, i had no more time to waste. Akio and i back off being pushed back a little further from where we once started. Akio took to the skies using his new wings and began yelling furiously with his body being stretched out a little bit. his entire body was tensing up. suddenly i noticed for once the glowing markings on my hands. there were two, i had a purple glow on my left hand of the crest from layrule on the doors to the kings office and one gray one on my right hand. they were glowing very brightly as i looked over to see the same gray glow on Akio's right hand. Akio flew towards me not noticing anything getting ready to punch me. i winded up my fist ready for an epic clash of fists to collide, but instead i felt myself as i released my fist into the air collide with glass shattering it instantly. i looked at the glass to see Akio as my reflection. except it wasn't my reflection, we were always opposites, time seemed to freeze as i remembered my past life, i was the selfish kid who stole the orbs in the story. i was the kid who took Akio's destiny. a memory that was not my own flashed into my head. there was all five members together staring down at a giant blob of dark mass slowly engulfing a forest. "it's your destiny to take the orbs, not mine. that old man could not clearly see it, but i have inherited his power to know these things. i see the strings of fate tie us all together to a future that will lead us to peace one day." a man looking like Akio said to me. "but.." I said confused. "no, this is right you shall be the one to rise up." the man said. suddenly i ran over and absorbed the orbs into my hands i flew towards the blob and was shot down spontaneously. as i was falling the orbs cracked and split as the other angels rushed to save me only to also be shot down as pieces of the orbs entered their body. the flashback ended as i looked to see Akio who must've had a similar experience back off and started stepping back. "you, you can't be. i..i was mean't to be the hero of this story not you!" Akio said distraught. his lips were quivering with grief and sorrow as he realized he had been the villain all along. while this was going on Sora had enough time to summon what she was preparing for. "now hear my call, and come forth! Azulo!" Sora said as a storm began with thunder and lightning polluted the sky. a huge long blue dragon came down from the clouds, he reminded me of Azulongmon from digimon tamers with his white bubbly beard and ancient look and scars. the dragon roared as it spiraled down toward the ground. Jesse looked up with her mouth wide open as she fell to he knees holding her hands up in surrender immediately. Mai had now a different symbol in her other eye, her right to be exact. the symbol looked like a greek delta and beta overlapping each other. the eye was allowing Mai to go beyond her physical and comprehensional limits bursting out into speeds far greater than Tomaki could keep up with. Tomaki was using umbrellas floating in the air to try and shoot Mai down only to be caught with Mai sending a slice through Tomaki's chest in an area that would not kill her unless she gained no medical help right away. things were looking up until Akio had calmed down and began acting strangely whispering to himself that he was the hero repeatedly. he looked at me and snapped his fingers. "here, now you'll be cleansed of your evil impudence!" Akio said as a mirror appeared on the floor. i gripped the mirror and looked into it since i had no other choice. i suddenly began feeling like half of my being was being ripped out of me. i opened my eyes to see the horror of an all black version of me being sucked out of my body and sucked into the mirror. once it was completely gone i asked Akio "what the heck did you do!?" "simple i took what those fools who resist us were hiding." Akio said laughing like a lunatic. "now the villain no longer is corrupt and will join me!" he yelled. "you're insane." i said. he looked at me as if that wasn't the response he was hoping for. "how can you still have those corrupted wings!" he asked. i forgot i even had wings up until he mentioned them. "if it didn't purify your soul, then what did it do?" Akio asked looking at the mirror on the floor. suddenly the mirror disappeared and teleported somewhere else. we were teleported back into reality for the last time and made our way to the sky only to see a forest on fire on one side of the castle and a giant dragon on the other side. "well, looks like my girls have been busy." i said. the dragon whacked it's tail towards the castle causing it to start to crumble. i hurriedly made my way through the opening the dragon had made and completely destroyed the level i was on with a gray explosion. i dove down deeper towards basement level figuring that was where Maya would be. i reached a room with metal bars in the way prisons had them and saw a bloody and broken Maya huddled in the corner. "Maya!" i yelled excitedly. she turned to face me with her depressed tears and began growing a big smile as she started to recognize me. "you..you..you're in that form, but how Jake?" Maya asked. "i don't know, but it doesn't matter right now i'm here to bust you out." i said bending the bars sideways as easy as a pretzel. Maya stepped out of the cage and held on to me tightly as i flew us up into the air and landed on a half ledge of a pillar. Akio was just staring at what was happening around him stunned that his entire base was now falling apart and being destroyed by just three people no less. although in my opinion it shouldn't have been that surprising since we do have omnipotent powers and are capable of anything we want. suddenly i felt a pain in the back of my neck, it felt like what that mirror was doing to me earlier. i looked out into the forest to see a huge blob of dark mass start slowly expanding like in the flashback. "oh no, the lost mirror of lucifer has been used again." Maya said worried.
