When she finally awoke, Andi found herself no longer falling in the darkness but lying upon a cool, sturdy wooden floor. She was faintly aware of someone brushing her dark hair from her face. Her eyes searched her surroundings until they fell upon the kind face of (Person B). Confused, she sat up too quickly and was overcome with an undeniable dizziness, which forced her to lie back down. "Newt!" she called out in a strangled whine.

She heard his equally queasy groan. He too was feeling the disorientating effects of the strange apparation.

Andi felt something cool be held to her lips, struggling to open her eyes, she realised that the unknown person next to her, was offering her a refreshing glass of water. When she failed to take a sip, they smiled and merely said: "Here drink this, you'll feel better."

Taking a hold of the glass, Andi did as advised, hoping that the unpleasant nauseousness would eventually fade.

When (Person B) was content with Andi's progress, they rose from her side and moved to check on the peculiar male, whom was currently curled up in foetal position.

Newt refused to open his eyes, for he was sure that the world would continue to spin in an unnatural way if he did.

He heard someone whisper the spell, Aguamenti and within moments, he too tasted delicious freshness of the icy water.

Slowly but surely, both he and Andi felt able enough to sit up, without the risk of vomiting. They continued to slowly drink their waters and watch their host with curious gazes.

"Is that better?" they enquired, a look of concern marred their beautiful features. "I've never had people react so violently to the Transportation Passage before."

"Transportation Passage?" Andi frowned from behind her glass.

(Person B) nodded. "It's a safety mechanism. You think that you're falling, when in actual fact, you're travelling upwards. Confuses any uninvited guests long enough for me to use Occlumens on them." they stood and walked over to the window.

Beyond the glass, clouds and mid-flight birds back-dropped by a dove grey sky were visible, a sign to both exhausted travellers that they were indeed not below ground.

"I know who you are, Mr Newton Artemis Fido Scamander." they spoke plainly. "What I don't understand is why you are here."

Carefully Newt stood up, as not to fall back to the floor. He straightened his jacket and ran a slightly shaky hand through his messy mop of auburn hair. "My contact," he cleared his husky voice. "My contact told me that you're the best tracker in this part of the country."

They merely rolled their eyes. "Your contact was not wrong and I know that I am. Your answer still doesn't answer my question."

"You also have a vendetta against Gellert Grindelwald."

Their furious gaze snapped away from the dull view to the nervous Magizoologist. "Who told you that?" they snapped, in demand of an answer.

"M-My contact." he stuttered, as he failed to meet her gaze.

"And who exactly is your contact, Mr Newton Artemis Fido Scamander?"

"Percival Graves."

(Person B)'s anger suddenly dissipated. In fact their features soften, a wistful look clouded their eyes.  "He sent you?" they whispered, a saddened smile played upon their soft and kissable-looking lips.

Newt found himself momentarily distracted by those said lips.  "Y-Yes. He said you two knew each other well in the past." he pulled his focus back to their frowning features. He could not help but notice their inquisitive eyes and delicate facial structure. It was then that Newt realised why Percival Graves had talked so fondly of (Person B). They were truly breath-taking to gaze at.

They nodded but did not immediately reply. "We were in Grindelward's capture together not too long ago. Allies in a place worse than hell." (Person B) paused, eyes analysing they scruffy but almost endearing man standing before them. "Why are you here, Mr Newton Artemis Fido Scamander?"

"Grindelward's kidnapped someone."

"I see."

"The beloved of a dear friend to Mr Graves."

"I see."

"So Mr Graves told me to come and find you."

"How did he know where I was?"

"He has his ways."

At Newt's words, they laughed- a  beautiful and musical sound. "I see." they tilted their head slightly to the side. "Is there any reason he couldn't ask for this favour in person?"

"He wanted to but unfortunately, there was a situation in America that needed his attention.

They fell silent for a moment, eyes boring into the shy male's Mediterranean blue irises, as if attempting to delve in and read his soul.

(Person B) sighed. "So he wants me to locate this beloved's whereabouts?"

He nodded wordlessly in response, mesmerised by the being before him.

"Why are they so important?"

Confused by their question, Newt found himself unable to answer immediately. "I'm not sure how that's really relevant-"

"I need to know why Grindelwald would kidnapped someone so random. Someone with a distant link to Graves? That's a rather unlikely target for him, don't you think?" their eyes narrowed with suspicion. "Who is it that they love?"

(Person B) noticed Newt's jaw clench with nerves., which caused them to suspect the Magizoologist further. "Mr Newton Artemis Fido Scamander, I'm not going to help either you or Graves, if you don't tell me the absolute truth. Now, who is it that they are coupled with?"

Before he could open his mouth to answer, Andi interrupted him. "Credence Barebone." she stated from her place on the ground.

(Person B) turned their attention to the young female, who in turn continued to stare sheepishly at the half empty glass of water in her hand. "Credence Barebone, the most powerful and unstable Obscurial known to the wizarding world."
