"Did you miss me?" The devil himself asked.
"What are you doing in my house?" I say as he took a step closer to me.
"To see you, my love," he said and he took my hands in his which I jerked away instantly.
He then started to step closer towards me and I didn't realise I was walking back until my back hit the kitchen counter. He towered over me, draining my confidence.This gave him the opportunity to prop both of his arms beside me. I soon felt his warm breath on my neck and his lips begun to travel upwards slowly. The fear begun to grow larger and larger inside of me as my chest rose up and down violently.
I let out a squeal, definitely not of delight, as he started sucking the side of my neck. He chuckled deviously, the filthy bastard.
"Trying to run away from me again, are we?" He smiled.
I kneed him up where the sun doesn't shine with the little energy I had left. His knees turned inwards and he fell to the floor letting out a large groan.
"Ooh I love it when you play dirty with me," I heard as I ran to my room and locked the door behind me. Tears begun to well in my eyes as he starts pounding on the door.
"You can't hide from me this time!" He yelled.
I ran into my closet and closed the door behind me. I did the first thing that came to mind.
"Hey Audsee, what's u-"
"Jason's back and he's right outside my door," I whispered and whimpered.
"Whoa, whoa. Jason Fisher?" Alex replied, concern laced in his voice.
"Yes, Jason Fisher," I responded with a shaky voice.
"Just stay calm, I'm coming over now," he said after I heard the sound of a car engine starting and hung up the line.
After about ten more seconds of the banging and yelling, the house was filled with silence. I froze in shock.
What if he was in my room?
I peer through the crack in the door and scan my surroundings. I was so weak, so scared. My heart was beating in my throat. I was inhaling each breath as if it were my last. My cheeks were stained with salted water.
Nothing.
I was about to open the closet door, convincing myself that it was safe, when I heart a familiar voice yell.
"Audrey?!"
Instantly, a black silhouette and pounding footsteps ran in the direction of where my window was.
"Audrey!" I heard for the second time.
"I'm here!" I squeaked, unable to move.
"Audrey," Alex signed in relief as he opened up the closet door, pulling me up.
He engulfed me in a tight hug as sobs escaped my throat and fat tears begun streaming down my cheeks and onto his shoulder. He stroked the back of my head and sat ourselves down on my bed. My vision started to go blurry and I started to feel extremely lightheaded.
"What the hell did he do to you?!" Was the last thing I heard before he picked me up bridal style and my vision was turned to darkness.
~~~~~~
"What happened to her?" A faint feminine voice asked.
"Uh, she wanted to make spaghetti. She tripped and hit the top of her head and passed out. I was going over there to study for a bit and found her on the floor."
