"Khoya khoya chand..." cabir started singing as I turned my gaze at him.

"Kya hai" I said being annoyed.

"Kuch nahi" he said casually flipping the pages of his books.

Humesha ka natak hai iska!

"Kuch nahi hai toh why are you troubling me hah? " I said banging my fist on the table making everyone turn their attention to us.

" Sorry! " I murmured and they got back to their work.

"Kuch nahi hai toh why are you troubling me hah?" I said this time in a low voice.

"Wah-Wah" he said clapping slowly.

"Aise bol rahi hai ki I have disturbed you while signing a deal of 15cr. hah? Sharam nahi aati khulle aam ek ladke ko goor rahi hai aur bol rahi hai important kaam hai" he whispered and I pouted.

He caught me!

"Sharam kar nandu sharam kar! Aaj ghoor rahi hai pata chala kal use dekh kar tu siti marna suru karde. Typical aashiq ki tarak.. log kya kahenge" he said cupping his face as if hiding from embarrassment.

"Joke tha?" i said mockingly

"Tha toh!" he said smiling

"I don't like jokes." I said snapping my finger at him.

"I don't like you!" he said mirroring my expressions.

We remained in the same position and after few seconds we both burst out laughing.

" Oh god, nandu chal bata mere aashiq,teri love story ka kya hua?"

"Dekna kabhi mere taraf dekta bhi nahi hai" I said sadly looking at the love of my life who is unknown to my undying love for him.

Manik malhotra the love of my life. We are together in the same college since 2 years but kabhi meri presence ko acknowledge hi nahi karta *sad pout* neither do I had the guts to go and confront him or at least ask him to be my friend.

He looks so good today I mean everyday hi lagta hi but kya hai na red meh aur bhi sexy lagta hai.

" SHUT. UP! " I hissed.

"Nandu?" Cabir asked nudging me.

"Dekh abhi next lecture ke liye hum late jayenge." He said casually.

"What? No ways! Tujhe pata hai na I don't like getting late." I said with wide eyes.

"Areey duffer listen to me. Hum late jayenge na toh sari benches full hojayegi then you can sit with manik." He said as a matter of fact.

"Areey duffer it is not that easy! He only sits with mukti, his sister." I stated.

"According to cabir the great ki research she is absent today. So he will be sitting alone. Just imagine! Tu aur woh. Woh aur tu.. " Listening to his sentence I could see a ray of hope and smile forming on my lips.

"Cabiraaaa! You.Are.Bestest!" I squealed.

"Tell me something I don't already know!" He said fanning himself.

I smacked him.

"Woh! Wait there lady what was this for?" He asked crying in pain.

"Aise hi!" I said and went away from him giggling.

"You are bad!" he said pouting.

"But you still love me!" I shouted and saw his lips curving into a beautiful smile.

Since I sat here I didn't uttered a single word thinking I will mess up things.

I was staring at him when he turned towards me.

His eyes met mine, and I swear I started drowning in those beautiful chocolate brown orbs.

Oh shit!

He was looking at me with a beautiful smile.

Oh god! Is this real?

"Hey!" He said and my eyes widen in shock.

Did he just said hi???

My words ditched me. So I just gave a small nod.

"I am Manik!" He said and I felt like I was in heaven.

He forwarded his hand.

I looked at his hand and then back at his face and then again at his hand.

With shivering and tumbling hand I finally hand shook with him.When his hands touched mine a shiver ran throught my body.

"You?" He asked and my words again ditched me.

I just sat there still. On not getting any answer he frowned.

Oh god he looks so cute!

After thinking for a while he said,

"Ok! I get it you are mute,sorry about it but bachpan se hi ya..." he trailed off and my eyes widen.

Did he just called me mute?
