VALERIE REGAINED CONSCIOUSNESS IN a car. A police car. But it was filled with werewolves. Werewolves from her pack. The alpha and beta.
"Where are we? This isn't the police station."
The door opened and the alpha, Theo, grabbed Simon. "Just cooperate and everything will be fine. Get out."
Valerie didn't have handcuffs on. She got out of the car but winced when she felt her head sting. She looked around and saw herself surrounded by water. She knew where she was at. She was at the Jade Wolf.
"We didn't do anything wrong." Simon defended.
"Be quiet or you're gonna make this worse for yourself." Valerie rolled her eyes. Idiots. Alaric started walking Clary inside and Theo started walking Simon inside with Valerie walking behind, thinking of a plan.
A phone starts ringing and Clary's eyes widen. "Hey, you're not a cop!" Clary turns to Alaric. "Alaric, who is this guy?"
Alaric pulls his phone out. "Luke's calling."
"Ignore it." Theo growled. "That's an order."
Clary's eyes widen. "Are you guys with Luke? Did he send you?"
"None of your business." Theo growls, opening the door into the Jade Wolf.
"Why do I keep getting kidnapped?" Simon groans.
"Not to be self-centered, but I think it's me they're after." Clary and Simon grunt when Alaric forces them down into a chair.
Theo waved Valerie over. "Valerie, it's lovely to see you."
Valerie rolled her eyes. "What going on, Theo?" Theo didn't reply. He grabbed her wrist in a flash and put handcuffs on her, handcuffing her to a metal pipe. She growls at Theo. "Theo! You idiot! I'm gonna kill you!"
When Valerie tried getting out of the handcuffs, she hissed in pain when it burned her. Silver doesn't burn her so she furrowed her eyebrows. Theo laughed. "Good luck getting out of those. Wolfsbane and Vervain."
Theo then sat down in front of Simon on the other side of the table. Clary glanced at Valerie before looking at Alaric. "Okay what is going on? Alaric, did you arrest us for trespassing or something, because, news flash, I was in my own apartment."
