VALERIE LOST ALEC DURING the fighting. She spent ten minutes so far looking for him. Valerie was caked in blood. She had blood dripping down her chin and blood on her fangs. She had some blood on her forehead and on her arms and legs. She had to turn into a wolf a few times to protect Alec. Valerie crashed into a hard chest. She looked up and saw Alec. "Alec, oh my god."

"Where's the cup?"

Valerie furrowed her eyebrows. This isn't Alec. This isn't her Alec. "I don't have it."

"Who does?"

Valerie shrugged and they started walking. "Last nights sex was great Alec. We should go for round two."

"Yeah, it was great."

There was no sex last night. Valerie focused on her smell. Demon. Valerie pushed "Alec" into the nearby wall and bared her fangs. "You can't fool a Hybrid."

"Alec" smirked and went to attack her but she plunged her hand into his chest. He stopped moving and blood started dripping down his chin. Valerie pulled her hand out and the Demon collapsed on the floor and disappeared. Valerie sighed and looked at her hand, which was now covered in blood. She shook her head before using her smell to search for Alec.

"Val!"

Valerie turned around at Luke's and Clary's voice. "Oh my god."

Valerie ran into Luke's arms and then hugged Clary. "Are you hurt?"

She shook her head. "No. Have any of you guys seen Alec."

"I'm right here."

Alec turned the corner and Valerie sighed in relief before running into his arms. He immediately wrapped his arms around the girls waist. "I thought I lost you."

"I told you, I'm never leaving you."

"I really hate to break up this Beutiful moment, but we need to go." Clary's voice interrupted.

Valerie pulled back first, smiling at Alec. "We can take my car."

Clary nods her head. "All right."

Valerie forgot her car was only a two seater so Luke had to take Clary back to the institute. "You scared me tonight."

Valerie glances at Alec. "Why?"

Alec frowned. "You disappeared. I thought something happened to you."

"I thought something happened to you!"

Alec sighed. "Well, you're okay. That's all that matters."

Valerie leaned over the arm rest of the car and pressed a kiss to Alec's cheek. "Thank you."

Alec smiled at her before opening the car door and getting out. Valerie watched Alec as he walked up the institute's steps. He turned around to look at her once he made it to the door and he waved. She waved back before rolling up her car window and pressing her foot down on the gas pedal, making her tires squeal and leaving tire marks. Valerie sighs as she makes her way back to the Jade Wolf, to talk to Luke.

Valerie storms into the Jade Wolf, causing some werewolves to stand and growl. Valerie growled back and they quickly sat down, submissively. Luke walked out from the kitchen and Valerie stormed up to him. She forgot about yelling at him earlier when they got the cup. "You didn't tell me!"

Luke furrowed his eyebrows. "Tell you what?"

"That Finn is dead!"

Luke's eyes soften and he frowned. "I'm so sorry Val. I wanted to tell you so bad, but I thought it's not my place too."

Valerie broke down sobbing. Luke immediately pulled the Hybrid into his chest. "I'm okay. I'm okay." She kept repeating.

Luke started shushing her to calm her down. She eventually calmed down and left Luke to look for Jax. She found him in his room. She knocked on his door and not even a second later, Jax opened the door. "Valerie?"

Valerie sniffled. "Hi."

Jax opened the door all the way and Valerie made her way inside. She laid herself down on his bed and Jax closed the door before sitting down next to her. "What's wrong?"

"Finn's dead."

Jax frowned. "Val, I'm so sorry."

Valerie sat up and glances at Jax. "Did you know?"

Jax shook his head. "No, I didn't."

Valerie laid back down and Jax laid down next to her. Valerie closes her eyes tightly before opening them again. "Were you the one who told Niklaus that I was hanging out with the Shadowhunters?"

Jax swallowed thickly. "I had too. I'm part of the sire bond. I didn't want too. I'm sorry."

"It's okay." Valerie sniffled. "You didn't mean too."

The two laid down in silence for a while until Jax spoke. "It's getting late."

Valerie looked up at him. "Jax, can I stay the night?"

Jax furrowed his eyebrows. "Don't you have a room here?"

Valerie nodded. "I do, but I don't wanna be alone."

"Of course you could stay here." Jax pulled some blankets over Valerie's body before he got under the covers himself.

"Thank you." Valerie whispered as she turned to look at him.

Jax smiled softly. "Of course." He pecked the hybrids forehead before wrapping his arms around Valerie.
