          AS LUKE WAS CALLING Alaric to call off the pack, Valerie and Alec were watching Hodge with narrowed eyes. Luke started walking back to the group and Alec stood up to talk to him, while Valerie sat on the floor Death glaring Hodge.

         Hodge chuckles slightly. "How's your brother doing Valerie? I heard something bad happened to him."

        Valerie growled lowly. "Shut the hell up."

        "What about your twin? Is he still alive? Or did the council find out about him too? Because clearly the Mikaelson's are bad at hiding—."

        Hodge was cut off by Valerie. Her eyes turns amber color as she pins Hodge against the wall, her arm against his throat. He struggles to breathe, his hands flying up to her arm but it has no use. "I swear to fucking god, if you ever talk about my family again, it'll be the last words you ever say." Valerie growls.

        Alec wraps his arms around the girl's waist, pulling her away from Hodge while whispering sweet calming things into her ear. She scoffs and shrugs Alec off. Valerie then storms off the opposite direction, Alec following. Valerie ignores the calls of Alec and now Luke, as he brought it upon himself to chase after the Hybrid and Shadowhunter.

        When the two finally caught up to Valerie, she turns to look at the boys with raises eyebrows. "If your watching me, who's watching Jace and Hodge?"

        Alec's eyes widen and quickly runs to Jace and Hodge, only to find the two were gone.

          Alec tried calling Jace. He answered but didn't give him a straight answer where he was at. All he said was to help Clary. Alec was a mess. He was worried and anxious and even though Valerie was going out of her mind because of her bloodlust, she's trying desperately to calm him down. Nothing is working though. Nothing. Currently, the two were walking into Magnus' apartment, getting s call from Izzy saying she needs backup.

         Valerie laces her fingers with Alec's, and he looks down at her. She smiles at him before pulling him back to her. He furrows his eyebrows, but she ignored his confused state and places her lips on his. His hands go down to her waist, and moves his lips against hers. As much as Valerie wanted to stay there, she knew Clary needs her, so she pulled away. She places her forehead against his, both were panting heavily and they had their eyes closed.

       "We'll get through this okay? We'll get the cut up, awake clary's mother, and help Jace." Valerie whispers as she opens her eyes.

         Alec numbly nods his head before a voice breaks up the two. "This is what you guys been doing? Making out?" The couple rolls their eyes at Izzy, before walking pass her to Magnus' loft.

         When they entered, Valerie's jaw clenches at the sight. Camille has her lips pressed against Magnus'. Magnus pulls away, his eyes flickering to a pissed off Valerie and a smirking Camille. "Well, this is awkward."

        Alec clears his throat. "Where's the book?"

          "It's complicated." Magnus chuckles nervously.

        "Clearly." Valerie scoffs.

        "I have it." Camille pitches in.

         Magnus moves towards the two Shadowhunters and Hybrid. "And she's graciously offered it in exchange for her freedom."

         Izzy raises her eyebrows. "And her freedom requires a lip-lock?"

       Alec moves closer to Camille threateningly. "We don't negotiate with prisoners."

        Camille scoffs. "Prisoner? I beg to disagree. You see, I'm your only chance save in world. You need me." Camille's eyes then travel down Alec's body. "You certainly have a type, don't you, Valerie?" She then smirks at Valerie. "He's cute. Too bad it won't last."

        Valerie snarls at her, slightly moving in front of Alec. "Say that again.... you won't last."

       Camille's lips curl up in amusement. "I'd say he's about twenty years from male pattern baldness."

      Valerie goes to pounce on Camille but Alec wraps a finger around the belt loop of her pants from behind, keep her in place. Alec then rolls his eyes. "I don't have time for this. Where's Clary?"

        Magnus points behind him towards Valerie's room. Alec glares at Camille before going around them dragging Valerie with him.

       When the two entered Valerie's room, immediately Simon and Clary stood up from the bed. "did you find Hodge?"

       Alec sighs. "Yeah, but Valentine has the cup."

       Clary's eyes widen in disbelief. "What?"

        Valerie bites her lip. "We're too late."

       "Where's Jace? Is he okay?"

        Alec frowns at the strawberry blonde girl. "He went after Valentine by himself. It's like he's totally lost it. I tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen."

        "We need to find Jace." Clary glances at Simon with wide eyes. "He's in a bad place. We don't know what he's gonna do."

        She moves past Valerie but she grabs her arm and pulls Clary back. "Luke and Ashton are out looking for him."

       "Jace wants us to stay on mission." Alec adds. "That means we have to find the book."

       Simon finally speaks up. "He's right. We have to wake up your mom."

       Clary glances at Valerie. "It's our only way to stop Valentine."

        The clicking of heels made Valerie roll her eyes in disgust as Camille walks into the room with a large piece of paper. She smiles innocently at Simon. "Ready to sign?"

        "Take us to the apartment, give us the book, then you can have your pardon." Simon smirks.

       Camille inhales deeply before spinning on her heel to see the glares from Alec and Clary. She glances at Valerie and she flashes her fangs at her. Camille gives a fake smile. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

       "Good."
