The short cut (journey to the west).

        They continued on their journey.
"You know this is the time I wish we had our horses", said Jack after walking for hours.
" yeah",said Abel.
"Why did we even got rid of the horses?", asked Jack.
" because we heard a voice that told us to ",said Abel.
" and how are we sure that the voice wasn't from the evil forces in this place, wanted us to die quick without our horses,we shouldn't have listened ",said Jack.

" what's that? ",he asked as they went to hind under a rock.
" don't you think you should be with your wife",said the kinnara(a Greek word for half humans, half horse).
"The midwife is there, besides I need to fine a gift for the baby before he is born", said the other Kinnara.
They walked away.
" are those ",said Jack.
" yes,they are",said Abel.
"Maybe that's why we were asked to get rid of our horse,we would have gotten on their bad side", said Jack.
" yeah",said Abel.
"What such of place is this?",asked Jack.
" you think that is bad,look ",said Abel.
As he shown he those on their left, fauns(half human and half goat) were
picking herds.
" let's leave here",said Jack.
As they got up to leave the Kinnaras came their way,so they went back to their hiding place till it was dark,the creatures light fire to make the place bright.
"Drink and be merry", said the Kinnaras.
" what are we celebrating? ",asked the mermaid who was inside a pool by the large dinner table.
" my wife just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy",said the kinnara.
"Congratulation sir", said the mermaid.
" thank you ",said the kinnara.
A female kinnara came in with a baby in her hand wrapped with silk.
" oh here she is, the one who bears the prince",said the kinnara.
The female kinnara smiled as she carried her baby to sit down at the table.
Abel slipped and fell making the creatures hearing him.
"What was that?", said the kinnara.
" we go check ",said the fauns.
" Abel ",groans Jack.
The fauns came towards were they heard the sound and Jack and Abel couldn't run nor hind because they caught them.
" hey,you, what do you think you are doing? ",said one of the faun.
" leaving, we are Just passers by,OK,see ya",said Jack.
"Not so fast", said another of the faun and they dragged them to the others.
" legs, complete humans,impossible ",said the mermaid.
" well not impossible just rear around here",said Jack.
"Why are you shocked about our legs you guys till have legs", said Abel.
" we have four legs along with the kinnara and she has a tail(referring to the mermaid) ",said the faun.
" but you guys have two ",said another faun.
" but still we are one,we are all humans rather half or full",said Jack.
"Kill them", said the Kinnara.
As the faun drew out his sword.
" stop",said the female kinnara.
"Why?",asked the mermaid.
" there will be no killing on the day I bear  my child,come with us eat and drink today, celebrate with us,so you can die tomorrow ",said the female kinnara.
They all laughed.
" go on,go and sit",said the faun.
They went and sat on the dinner table, it was vegetable but they got to eat it anyway or die.
The Kinnara brought out a craved little horse for his son,he gave it to his wife,
"This is my gift for our new born baby", he said.
" chess",they all said as they drank and drank and drank until they became drunk and fell asleep. Then Jack and Abel got up and ran away, the creatures were so drunk that Abel fell on one of them but they didn't wake up.
They ran as fast as they could.
                   Back at home
Lily is sitting on log,crying. Some one gave her a piece of cloth.
"Here,use this".
" thank you ",with a cracked voice as she used it to blow her nose. Then she raised her head and saw so many people looking at her and also saw the king's guard, then saw the king in front of her. She knelt down immediately.
" my king forgive me, I didn't know it was you ",said Lily.
The king was a young handsome man and all this time he was not looking at her.
" get up ",he said.
" I will not dare stand on the same ground as you ",said Lily.
" leave,all of you ",the king said to the others and they left.
" you too",he said to his guards and they left.
"At least sit", said the king.
Lily sat down on the log, the king sat besides her,Lily was scared.
" I guess you haven't found your brother yet",said the king.
"Yes,we haven't found him", said Lily.
" I would do every thing in my power to find him",said the king.
He took his hand around her and draw her closer to him, she was uncomfortable.
"You can cry on me", said the king.
She wanted to draw back but them she just laid on his shoulder and cried on him.
     In a barn,Gabriel and his friend were tied up but Gabriel was still unconscious.
" Gabriel, Gabriel wake up ",said his friend.
" it isn't time for school yet",said Gabriel.
"Gabriel wake up", shouted his friend.
" what,what,what",said Gabriel.
Gabriel woke up.
"Where are we?", asked Gabriel.
" look around ",said his friend.
Their surrounding is like a shrine, with images of a god and red cloths covered every where.
" this is a shrine ",said Gabriel.
" yeah,obliviously but what are we doing in a shrine ?",asked his friend.
"He,whoever this is wants to use us for sacrifice", said Gabriel.
" he wants to use us for rituals?",asked his friend.
"Yeah", said Gabriel.
" and you are smiling, we are going to be used for rituals and you are smiling ",said his friend.
Gabriel eyes fell on some girls at their right.
" who are those? ",asked Gabriel.
" I don't know, they were here when I woke up, maybe they want to be used as rituals too",said his friend.
"I will be back", said Gabriel as he draw himself on the ground and pull himself forward towards the girls.
" Gabriel you want to leave me here",said his friend.
"Come along then", said Gabriel.
" I can't move,that would be painful ",said his friend.
  " hey lady",Gabriel was referring to one of them.
"I just want to talk to you", he said as he used his leg to touch her and she used her leg to hit his and they wrestle with legs.
" we could look for a way to escape together ",said Gabriel.
Then she stop wrestling and pushed his leg back.
" OK,I agree, but do not come one foot closer ",she said.
" I am Gabriel ",said Gabriel as he looked at her expecting a response.
" my name is Rose",said Rose.
"And my name is Grace,isn't your friend going to introduce himself?", asked Grace.
" he is shy, I will get him over here",said Gabriel.
He crawled back and rest his back on his friend's back they pushed him over to where the girls were.
