The short cut (journey to the west).

       Lily was home crying when Gabriel and the others came.
"Sis", said Gabriel.
" oh my Gabriel, you are home, you are okey,I swear I will never neglect you again and face my business ",said Lily.
" sis, you didn't neglect me,and you were saving lives,it's not as if you took money from them",said Gabriel.
"Never the less,I caused it,I made you go investigate that matter", said Lily.
" sis,you did not make me do anything and enough about me,some one is affected ",said Gabriel.
" but i can't help her",she said looking at her.
"Sis you must, please", said Gabriel.
" bring her in",said Lily.
Aaron carried Grace in, Grace skin was already getting better.
Lily tried her best to treat her,she gave her medicine for the cough, to gain blood and so on but it was herbal medicine.
"This is all I can do,as I have done before for the others but it will not cure it", said Lily.
" I don't think it's has a cure",said Aaron.
"Why do you say so?",asked Lily.
" because the illness isn't natural ",said Rose.
" I don't understand ",said Lily.
" it's spiritual sis,the chief uses charm to make people sick",said Gabriel.
Then Grace coughed.
"The cough again", said Aaron.
" no,that's cough wasn't dry",said Lily.
And Grace coughed again, then got up and opened her eyes.
"Her eyes aren't red anymore, they are white", said Rose.
" are skin isn't pale anymore ",said Gabriel.
" healer,my son he is waking up",said a woman who ran in.
"My daughter she is talking", said another.
" my child is healing, he is getting better ",said another.
" it's seems that they are healing on their own ",said Lily as she ran to the women.
" maybe as we scattered the shrine, we ruined his ritual, that's why everyone is getting better ",said Rose.
" yeah",said Gabriel.
"So how are you feeling, are you feverish, weak,tell me?", Aaron asked Grace.
" I am fine, trust me ",said Grace.
"Really, no pain anywhere?", asked Aaron.
" no pain,Aaron I am fine, perfectly okey,like never before ",said Grace.
" forgive me for not keeping my promise,for not saving you ",said Aaron.
" there was nothing you could have done",said Grace.
Grace, Rose and Aaron's mum came.
"Mum", they all said at once to their different parents.
" we heard you kids where here",said one of their mum.
"We are not kids", said Rose.
              The next day
The villagers surrounded the town square.
" come let's hurry",said Gabriel.
"To where?", asked Rose.
" to the town square ",said Gabriel.
" why?",asked Rose.
"So you haven't heard?", asked Gabriel.
" heard what?",asked Rose.
"That chief started shouting in cell that he wants to confess,he needs to confess before he died,so they brought him to the town square and everyone is to be there to listen to his confession" ,said Gabriel.
"OK", said Rose.
They went to the town square and it was crowded,the chief sat on the ground.
" we are listen, say what you wish to say",said another chief.
"You all know me in this town, I am chief Hufrey, the kings adviser, I was told a prophecy years ago that I was going to become rich but it wasn't coming anytime soon, so I look for a way that I may become rich but faster, after I made the first person sick,I was ask to continue bringing more,the more people fall sick,the more I become rich (as he spoke people shouted), then I bribe my way as the king's adviser and I wouldn't succeeded if not for the last set of people I caught", he said.
People shouted more.
" I am sorry for what I did,I beg you all to forgive me before I die,because now I have gotten the illness and it's has no cute",said the chief.
"And he told us he will help us find the cure but he was the one killing us", said someone from the crowd.
"If you had waited and worked hard,you may have been rich but now you are going to die a poor man", said Lily.
Then she walked away,and every body left. Then the guards took him back to the cell.
            Journey to the west
Jack and Abel rode their horses all day.
"I am tired can we rest for a little while", said Jack.
"Yes we can, I am tired too", said Abel.
" look ",said Jack.
There was a huge statue at their front,a huge head with it's mouth wide open and was written" DEATH " on top.
"This is death", said Abel.
" we will pass through death, this is it,it doesn't mean we will die ",said Jack.
" yeah,it's means we will pass this huge statue",said Abel.
" no more resting for us",said Jack.
"Can you jump it?", asked Abel.
Because there was a huge hole under that looks pretty deep and if someone were to fall in it,it would be death.
" because you can join me on my horse and I will get us there",said Abel.
"Because you are such a good jumper", mocked Jack.
" no,but better than you ",said Abel.
" I will be fine ",said Jack.
" so let's do this on the count of three",said Abel.
"One,two, three", Abel jumped at the same time with Jack and they went into memory lane.
" Abel, it isn't safe,the west isn't safe",said Lily.
"Maybe you are the chosen one", said Gabriel.
" you are the seen creatures that would unite us",said the ghost.
"I am starting to believe that you are the chosen one", said Jack.
" you are the king of animals ",said the guardian.
" you are the one the gods has sent to free us",said Adeze.
"Jack, beware of the sinking sand", said Lily.
" you will be save as long as you go with the chosen one ",said Gabriel.
" don't leave me ",said Lilac.
And Abel landed on the other side.
" what was that,why was I thinking about that in a time like that",he said to himself.
"Jack, where is Jack?, Jack", Abel shouted.
" I am right here",said Jack,Jack was a few meters away.
"How did sis know about the sinking sand but it was Abel who sank", he said to himself.
Abel ride his horse to where he was.
" look ",said Jack.
Abel looked at the front and it was a sign board written" welcome to west".
"We made it", said Abel.
" yes,we did, the impossible as become the possible",said Jack.
They ride inside, Jack was riding some where else.
"Jack it's this way", said Abel.
"You don't want to wear that to a banquet do you?",asked Jack.
Abel looked at his cloths.
" you are right ",said Abel.
"The guardian gave me some money", said Jack.
They went to a shop and bought some clothes.
" the west is more modernise than us",said Abel.
"Yeah way modernise", said Jack looking at the cloths, the shop,the dress,the cargo and the houses.
" we don't have seat in our horses in south ",said Abel.
" because south could not come to west,west could not go to south, they could not modernise south but now I that would change, and they entered their horses and went to the banquet.
They got to the place, it was a beautiful mansion, and Abel gave the man his invitation and he read it.
"Mr Abel Joseph from the south", said the man,when everyone heard it they stop all what they were doing and looked at Abel in amazement, surprised. Abel came down the stairs and they all bowed down even those serving drinks or snacks, Jack followed him at the back.
" what is doing on here?",asked Abel.
A woman came to Abel and called him.
"Come", she said and Abel followed as he left,they all got up and continued what they were doing.
She took him to another room in the mansion.
" we look at the southerns that fit the description of the prophecy and sent a letter to them,like the one you received, you are not the first person we sent letters to you know, and time pass when people saw that those who went only died, they stop hedging the call ",said the woman.
" you said a description ",said Abel.
" yes,in the prophecy it is stated that the chosen one will be courageous, smart,looks innocent but deadly and does not give up easily ",she said.
" how am I deadly ?",asked Abel.
"Have you ever notice with in your self that you defeat all your enemies with out knowing", said the woman.
" yeah I have notice that in our adventure ",said Jack.
" really ",said Abel.
" we have been waiting for you not just only in a manner of weeks but years,the others who died passed the short cut, how wish you didn't pass the straight road, you would not have been it,chosen one or not but that's why you are the chosen one, the courage to make you pass the straight road, though the short cut was the easy way,but the straight road always leads to the right destination and acquires the goal, "she said.
" Oh that reminds me a ghost gave me this to give to you ",he gave her the envelope.
She opened it.
" this is what will bind us together, this is what I needed,from now on the southerns are free to come to the west through more easy and danger free road,and the westerns are free to go to south, its really true that you will be the one to join us together, you did it",she said.
"Here is your reward, you shall no longer be known as Mr Abel Joseph but now King Abel Joseph", she said.
" what about the southern king? ",asked Abel.
" the southern king will remain the king of south while the western king will remain the king of west but you shall be the king of southwest,you will be the one making sure that we are united forever and you shall have the same benefits as king and that not all",she said as they brought out a chest containing golds.
"And the final gifts", said the woman.
" another, its already too much as it is, "said Abel.
Adeze came out with a nice beautiful English dress and her hair was packed up.
" Adeze,how are you here?",asked Abel.
"My people told me of a boy that understands English very well but was shy, the mother heard I was giving up my love, so she came out and spoke, my people said they could take care of their selves now they have an interpreter,they told me to go to you", said Adeze.
" wow that's awesome, but what I meant is how did you get here so fast I left you behind, and it seen like you got here first ",said Abel .
" you forget that I can get here the easier and the faster way because I am not a southern, eastern, or northern ",said Adeze.
" OK,I get it you are not from my land ",he said.
Jack went to a Corner.
" Jack don't be like that I have something for you too",said the woman.
"I don't want your title or your money", said Jack.
" and who is talking about title and money ",she said as Jack looked at her and she looked away and they opened the red cotton which Adeze came out from and it was lilac.
"Lilac,it's you, you came", said Jack.
" you didn't think I would let you slip away, did you ",said Lilac.
" but your kingdom? ",asked Jack.
" I left it's for my second in command, she is now their new queen, love is a once in a life time opportunity, I wasn't ready to lose it",said Lilac.
                 Jack kissed her
"I love happy endings", said the woman.
                       Back at home
In Lily's house, the king and Lily were in the discussing.
" please go to the sitting room, my king ",said Lily.
" enough with the my king ",said The King.
" please my lord",said Lily.
"My name is Mark,I have told you for the hundred time, call me Mark or call me honey", said the King.
" please go to the sitting room ",said Lily.
" is it wrong that I want to stay here with you ",said the king.
" yes,you should be in the sitting room sitting comfortably ",said Lily.
" what about I help out",said the king.
"No,God forbid,that's an abomination,a king should not be in the kitchen let alone helping in the kitchen", said Lily.
" every thing is an abomination to you ",said the king.
" go to the sitting room my king ",said Lily.
" there you go again, my name is Mark,my subjects call me king, are you my subject? ",said the king.
                    At the backyard
Rose was lying on Gabriel while Grace was lying on Aaron.
"I heard the chief died today", said Rose.
" good riddance to bad rubbish, I hated him any way but I didn't wish for him to die ",said Grace.
" I wished for him a fate worst than death ",said Rose.
" careful Rose you aren't suppose to cause the dead",said Aaron.
"What, Aaron scared his ghost would come and hunt you", said Rose.
"  I don't hate him ",said Gabriel.
" why wouldn't you hate him, do you like all the wrong he has been doing? ",asked Rose.
" no but if he hadn't done all those wrong I would have not met you, as I love the fact that I met you so he wasn't all bad",said Gabriel.
"Yeah you are right, I like the fact that I met Aaron maybe he is not all bad", said Grace.
A young man came in.
" is this the house of Joseph? ",he asked.
" yes",answered Gabriel.
"I got a letter for the Joseph's", he said.
Gabriel went to him and took the letter, then signed in a book and the man left,and Gabriel opened the letter.
" what's that ?",asked Rose.
"What does it say?", asked Aaron.
Gabriel looked up and smiled,,then said" we are invited to west".
