Fragile Rose (a RWBY fanfiction)

"Hey, Ruby, I need to talk to you a little bit." Yang said from her bed as she looked up at the roof.

The red haired girl looked over at her sister. "Yeah? What about?"

"Well, if you're going to be getting as serious with Weiss as you have been, we need to talk about some things."

Ruby's eyes widened. "Um, Yang..? What are you talking about?"

"No no, it's fine. I'm fine with you and Weiss being together and I know that couples do that, I just need to talk about when the right time for that is." The brawler said.

"Yang. What the Grimm are you talking about?" Ruby asked.

"Sex, Ruby. I'm talking about sex." Yang responded. "You don't want a situation where you and Weiss are going at it and someone walks in, so we need to have this cha~"

"YANG, WE ARE NOT AT THAT POINT YET!" Ruby shouted, cutting off her sister.

Yang laughed. "You can't fool me, I know that you and Weiss had some fun the other day."

"What are you talking about..?" Ruby asked, completely confused.

"I forced Weiss to tell me everything, you've got nothing to~"

"Weiss and I really didn't go beyond kissing. I mean, it was a lot of kissing, but still didn't go past that." Ruby clarified.

"What..?" Yang asked.

Ruby shrugged. "We decided to take it slowly. I mean, I did make a joke about going slowly by saying it in a sexual way, but we really didn't go past kissing."

"But... Weiss said you two got to second base..." Yang said.

Ruby raised her brow. "Is that above the waist? I can never figure out the bases. There was some touching, but no skin to skin contact."

"Well... I guess Weiss is just innocent." Yang responded. "But we still need to have this conversation."

"Actually, no. The conversation we need to have is about the box you gave to Weiss." Ruby countered.

She took a box out from under her bed, on it was a label that said To Ice Queen. From Y. She opened it, glaring at Yang the whole time.

Yang nervously grinned. "I can explain."

"What? Explain why you gave my girlfriend a Myrtenaster themed vibrator? Oh yes, please do." Ruby said with a glare. "Oh, and maybe you can explain why the note says So you can fuck yourself instead of my sister."

"Hehe... You weren't exactly supposed to see that. It was for Weiss..." Yang responded.

Ruby narrowed her eyes. "Weiss will never see this. I stopped her so that I'd get a chance to see what it was, but now she'll never see this. Now please, explain."

"Well, I figured that I'd give her a little joke gift. And maybe help you guys keep it slow." Yang said in defense.

"Riiiiiiiiiiiight. And why is it a mini Myrtenaster?" Ruby asked.

Yang attempted not to laughed, but eventually failed. "I thought it would be fitting, seeing as she loves that thing. Now she can really love it. Oh, did you see the different settings?"

"I hate you."

"You love me."

"Please just stay out of my relationship, Yang." Ruby pleaded.

Yang sighed. "Not until we at least have this talk. It's time for The Talk."

"No... Please no..." Ruby said, horror in her eyes.

"It'll be fine, don't worry. This is just a quick talk about things like safety and how to be discreet and courteous." Yang responded.

Ruby attempted to hide her face in her hood, which both were the same color. "Please don't... This isn't your job, Yang..."

"Hey, dad never had this chat, so now I've gotta do it." The brawler said in defense. "Let's just get this over with, because I don't want to do this either."

Ruby glared daggers at Yang. "Don't you lie to me, you love talking about this stuff."

Yang out on a pair of reading glasses and pulled out a book. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Now, let's start with this little story that I've set up to help explain." She cleared her throat. "Chapter One: Foreplay."

"I hate you so much..."

In The Streets Of Vale

"Thank you for bringing me out for lunch, Blake." Weiss said. "But, is there a reason that you offered to take me out so suddenly."

"Yang asked me to keep you away from Ruby so that she can have The Talk with her." Blake answered casually.

Weiss sighed. "Really? Yang is the one giving Ruby The Talk?"

"Yup." Blake responded. "Yang didn't want me to tell you, but I thought that you'd be fine with it."

"I have no issue with it, and I'm very happy that you didn't keep it a secret from me." Weiss replied. "You know, now that I think about it, nobodies ever given me that talk."

Blake's eyes widened. "What?"

"Well my father has never exactly been the one to interact with me in a productive way, my mother has been gone for a while now, and my sister left to join the army. There hasn't really been~"

"Weiss. We're going to deal with this right now. You already know the basics, so I'm not even going to go into all of that like Yang definitely would, but we will be talking about what to do and what not to do. Plus, we need to have a conversation about the emotional impact and responsibilities involved in a physical relationship." Blake explained.

Weiss tried to swallow the lump forming in her throat. "Umm... Well, I guess if it'll help, I'm up for it..."

Team RWBYs Dorm

"And that's how one hits a Home Run. Now on to chapter seven. To my memory, this one is about all the best parts of the human body." Yang chimed.

Ruby starred with a deadpan look. "This seems like it's just a tutorial and not anything important, like how this stuff effects your partner."

"Hey, this is all very important! Tutorials teach you everything about how to play!" Yang whined.

"Why can't you be normal or at least take this more seriously..?" Ruby asked.

"What did you expect? I mean, I did try to give Weiss a Myrtenaster themed vibrator to keep her away from you."
