The invigilator (agent Valentina) seriously wasn't buying it.
She physically lifted Lauriel up until she was above the ground, her fists nearly making eye level with Lauriel's face.
"Listen, kid. Or whatever your stupid name is. I haven't got time for your crazy shenanigans. You're either here, or you're not, and if you're not, then you might as well die because that's what happens if you don't take the test! Do you understand me!"
"Yes! Yes! I understand! Please put me down!" Lauriel shouted, although the invigilator didn't listen to her.
"Don't freaking tell me what to do! And because of that, you get this!"
Instead of listening to Lauriel, agent Valentina lifted Lauriel up and threw her across the obstacle course. Lauriel was in serious pain.
Abruptly, Dr Kozak then came into the scene quietly , although freaked out a little bit when he saw her.
"Lauriel?"
He knelt down in front of her, trying to get her attention, although he wasn't fortunate enough for that to happen.
"Lauriel!" He slapped her continuously, checking her pulse rate, everything. "Oh my god, she's not breathing."
He was about to call the KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS ambulance on her, that was until Lauriel half opened her eyes, coughing in pain.
"Lauriel! Thank god you're alive! I was just about to call the ambulance on you. Are you okay?"
Lauriel didn't reply.
Instead, she half opened her eyes, where a figure was kneeling down right in front of her.
After half seeing the figure, she opened her eyes fully, staring at an anxious man.
"What the flip? Dr Kozak? What are you doing here! I'm supposed to be starting the test!" She told him in annoyance.
Dr Kozak didn't reply, just put a finger to Lauriel's mouth before telling her to be quiet.
"Long story. I'll tell you later, because right now I'm genuinely worried about you." He placed his right hand all over Lauriel's face, checking her temperature.
Lauriel was about to tell him to snap out of it but remembered she was deeply in pain so she couldn't be bothered to say anything.
"Are you alright Lauriel?" He asked her, even more anxious than before.
"You could say that."
Dr Kozak raised an eyebrow at her in confusion.
"What do you mean 'you could say that'? It's a yes or no question, kid. Plus... What happened? You look horrible. No offence before you start screaming at me for being rude to you like you always do."
He had a rather harsher tone in his voice now, indicating that he wasn't in the mood to talk for a long time and that Lauriel should cut straight to the point.
"Agent Valentina... She threw me off the terrace."
"What? Why!" Dr Kozak echoed. "That's just messed up."
"I said something."
"What?" He hissed, seriously looking at her now.
"Well, she was taking the register, and she told everyone that was in to say here. I said I don't know what I'm doing here and yeah. But hey! Don't get me wrong. I still said I was here. Kind of. Anyway... She must have gotten ticked off or something because the next moment she lifted me up, yelled in front of my face, and threw me off the terrace. Then you came, surprisingly, and now we're having this pointless conversation."
