Maria Grace had looked high and low for Kieran, searching for him everywhere. She had asked about a million people if they had seen Kieran or where they thought Kieran was but they came up with almost the same response each time.

"No.. I haven't seen Kieran... sorry."

"Who the hell is Kieran?"

"There are like a million Kierans here so you kinda need to be more specific on which Kieran you're talking about."

Soon Maria Grace gave up completely, almost thinking of swearing out loud however changed her mind because she wasn't someone that usually swore plus she had never swore in her life.

On purpose anyway.

For some reason, Maria Grace accidentally on purpose bumped into Kieran at the least expected place that she thought he would be.

"Hey! Watch where you're going you little-"

This was coming from Kieran who had just bumped into Maria Grace, and was fully about to scream at her, but then when he looked up at her, he kind of smiled a bit.

"Kieran!" Maria Grace just stared at him. "I'm so sorry for bumping into you... I know that you don't want to talk to anyone right now but that's fine..."

She was about to leave but then for some reason Kieran held her back by holding unto Maria's hand.

"Wait. Maria Grace?"

Maria Grace turned around steadily, staring into Kieran's eyes, Kieran doing the same thing back with Maria.

"Yeah..." she trailed off melodramatically.

Kieran's next response was a whisper as he pulled Maria Grace closer to him.

"Look, I know I said that but truth be told, you're the only person that I want to talk to."

Maria Grace was half surprised.

"Really?"

Kieran nodded vigorously then fake smiled at her. Maria Grace didn't know it was fake though Because it casually sounded real.

"Yeah."

There was silence after that as Maria Grace was thinking of what to say. She wanted Kieran to apologise to Dr Kozak without actually mentioning Dr Kozak's name.

Easier said than done though. Obviously.

"Kieran..." Maria Grace paused for a while before Kieran had had the chance to actually say or do anything. "Are you busy right now?"
