"Oliver be careful with that box, it's where the photos are in." Felicity yield from the top of the stairs that lead into the apartment building.

"Okay, I can take a criminal any day over her," Oliver said as John and I laughed and Oliver disappeared from the truck heading to the doors. John was busy placing another box on top of another as I quickly grab it from his grasp before jumping of the truck as John have me a look. I stick out my tongue at him before walking to the apartment. I don't know what I would have done without these amazing friends. Because since I had to move here for my job, that is going to start tomorrow, Oliver offered that I take his apartment that he had here. I don't have to move furniture since it was already furnished. I walk up the stairs to the last floor which happens to be the penthouse, jippy me, as I place the box near the door and took the place in.

It was quite a large penthouse, as you enter the doors you get an open plan living area. In front of you was the living room that had a big grey couch and a table in the middle with a nice big warm fire that divides the living room and the entertainment room from one another. There was an open plan kitchen next to the living room with a dining room. Next to the door was a staircase leading to the top floor but you could see the bedroom since there wasn't any wall except for the bathroom. Next to the kitchen was a long hallway that leads to two doors. One is the guest bedroom and the other was the guest bathroom. The living room had an amazing view of the city which you can see for the hole open plan space no matter where you are. There was a small balcony that had a comfortable chair and a small table next to it.

"Well, that is the last boxes," John said as they place it by the door. I fold my arms under my chest as I nod at the four of them.

"You sure you don't need help with unpacking?" Thea asked as she moves to give me a hug.

"No, it's okay. It's not a lot of boxes so don't worry about it." I said as I gave the rest of them a goodbye hug. Felicity was the last one who gave me a hug as she holds tightly onto me not wanting me to go just yet. "You can always come to visit, I mean I have a guest room."

"Yeah, we should have a girls night sometime," Felicity said as she looks from me to Tea as she smiled and nod her head. "Okay, we better get going. Good luck with work tomorrow."

"Thanks," I said as they walk out the door. I lock it behind them as I walk to the couch and sat down pulling my legs to my chest as I wrap my arms around them, just looking at the fire.

Oh, I'm so damn late and for my first day at work. What kind of person am I. I blame it all on Felicity, because if she didn't get me so addicted to Pretty Little Liars then I would have probably gone to sleep early yesterday and would have woken up on time? But no I just had to watch the series until two a.m this morning. Which means I got five hours of sleep and for my system, I need more.

I quickly stop by Starbucks on my way before running to the station. I enter the building as I walk down a long hallway before rounding a corner as I saw the place. There were two desks on both sides of the room that you could see threw since it was all glass. The room looks like the cop and detective area with the chief office. To the right was a staircase that leads upstairs, probably to the science lab.

I stop in the middle of the room and look around as I notice something behind me. The station logo.

"May I help you." I turn around to the sound of the voice quite startled as I saw a black guy, about 40 years old, standing in front of me. He was wearing a white shirt with its sleeves rolled up and a gun to his side with his badge on his belt.

"Oh hi, sorry didn't see you there." I move my hand towards him. "I'm Dawn Price the new forensic analysis assistant."

"Ah, you must be the one Felicity told us about." He said shaking my hand as I smiled.

"That's me."

"Well then please follow me, Mrs. Price." He said and head to the stairs.

"Oh please call me Dawn. Detective..."

"Joe West, but you can call me Joe." He said as I smiled and nod following him up the stairs. He turns right and walks to the end of the hall as I read on the name boards on top of the door that Joe was about to enter.

Forensic analyst.

He held the door open before closing it behind him since it was almost like the doors like we use at the stables for the horses. And my was this a lab, all messy and stuff.

There were papers and folders everywhere. There was a board to the left that divides the office and the room where you do the test. There were two desks in front of me and a board in front of the second desk that was facing the window that had a view of some buildings around us.

"Barry, you here?" Joe asks behind me as I bit my bottom lip looking at the mess that I would have to get used to. I mean my work station also look like this but that's how I know where everything is because if I put it away I can't find it.

"Yeah, right here." A voice said behind the board that was near the window as a muscle body steps into view as I felt myself freeze into place.
