Running From Me /Complete

9 months later

"Hey, Dawn," Caitlin said as I enter the main room. She was standing to the room to my left with her lab coat on and a sample in her hand.

"Hey, Caitlin," I said as I walk so I was standing behind Cisco who was busy on the three computer screens in front of him. He reminds me a lot of Felicity. It has been nine months since Barry was struck by lightning and has been in a coma ever since. Harrison Wells came to the hospital right after the day I almost witness Barry dying. He, Caitlin and Cisco said that they might be able to help Barry recover from his coma and bring him back to us. But nothing has changed over the nine months, Barry is still in a coma and Cisco and Caitlin are still doing tests on him.

So I kind of make it my job to come and visit them as often as I can, but since I'm the only forensic one at the station I have been pack with work.

I lean on the desk at the side as I look at Cisco. He looks up at me when he notices me staring as he let out a breath and lean back in his chair placing his hands behind his neck as he let a breath out.

"He's still not awake. I can't see to get any reaction from him. So maybe you can to talk to him, see if he reacted. I will stay right here if you want to." He said as I did my head before moving to the room on my right where Barry was laying in a hospital bed. He had pipes in his arms and one running under his nose, giving him oxygen. His eyes where still close and I could see his chest moving up and down.

"Hi Barry, it's me again," I said as I pull the chair next to him closer. I place my hand into his as I look towards his face. "I know you can hear me, I just need you to give me a sign any sign that you are still here. That you can hear my voice and Bar if you can hear it, come back to me please." I said as I lean my head into my hand that was resting in his as I close my eyes. I felt Cisco hand on my shoulder as I look up at him and he shook his head.

"Nothing, in sorry Dawn." He said as I gave him a sad smile before standing up as I move my hand away from his and start to walk towards the door with Cisco next o me.

"I believe in you Barry, I know you can tight this," I whisper as I look over my shoulder at him before turning towards the door where Cisco was standing. "Well, I guess I see you two tomorrow again."

"Don't give up Dawn. In sure he can hear you he is just fighting the coma" Caitlin said as I look behind Cisco and saw her walking towards us.

"Thanks, Caitlin, I need that. Well, you two enjoy your day. And don't work too hard."

"No promises," Cisco said as I gave him a smile before the adding out the door and walk down the hallway leading to the exit. Sometimes I wish Barry would just open his damn eyes so I know that he doesn't die or anything.

I saw Harrison coming from the particular accelerator room in his wheelchair. He looks up at me as I attempted to walk past him since I don't like him very much. I don't know why, I guess it's my six sense kicking in, but he just seems off to me as if he is hiding something.

"Mrs. Price, what a surprise." He said as I stop in my tracks and turn around to face him.

"Dr. Wells. I wish I could say the same thing." I said as he chuckled and shook his head.

"Did you come to see Mr. Allen?"

"Yeah, I was just there," I said as I attempted to walk away again but he stops me when he talks again.

"You really do need to stop coming here Mrs. Price, it is not safe for someone like you."

"Someone like me?" I asked folding my arms over my chest.

"Yes someone like and you that could ruin things for people like me. I don't need you every day to cine here and try to get Mr. Allen awake when I have tried everything to get him awake. Don't think you have some power over him, you are nothing." He said as I took a step closer to him pointing my finger at him.

"Don't you dare talk to me like that. I only come here for support so Caitlin and Cisco know someone isn't pushing them to do there work when they are working harder than you can ever imagine. So don't care to tell me I'm nothing." I said as I saw him smirk before I notice Cisco running around the corner and notice me still here.

"Dawn, I was hoping to catch you." He said as he stops behind Harrison and took a deep breath in.

"Is everything alright Cisco?" I asked as he look up at me with his hands still on his knees as he took deep breaths in trying to control his breathing. "Take a deep breath, Cisco. Now talk slowly and tell me what's wrong."

"Barry's awake." He said as my eyes grew large and I ran back to the lab with Cisco behind me. I ran to the right room and saw Caitlin trying to get Barry to calm down.

"Where the hell am I?" Barry asked as I move slowly to the opening on the door as I look at his bare back.

"Barry?" I asked in a low voice as I saw his back become stiff as he slowly turns around and saw me standing in the doorway.

"Dawn?" He asked with a small smile on his lips. He quickly walks towards me as he wraps his arms around my waist and lifts me a bit up as I sink my head in the crook of his neck as he did the same to me and he let a deep breath in almost as if he was smelling me. "I'm so glad to see you right now, you have no idea how many times I want to give you a signal that I was listening to you the whole time."

My eyes shot open as I look towards Caitlin only to see her nodding her head at me as she gave me a small smile. I pull away from Barry as he places me back on the ground. He was about to say something when I place my finger on his lips to make him stop before he said something.

"Let's talk later, now you have to hear them out first," I said as I nod towards Caitlin. He looks behind me before looking back at me as he nods his head with a smile on his lips.

"Let's talk in the main room," Caitlin said as she walks past us as I saw Cisco sitting behind the desk looking at Barry star struck. He waved me over as I look at Barry as he looks down at me squeezing my hand.

"You'll be okay. I will be right back." I said as he let go of my hand and took a seat in front of the desk where Caitlin has brought a chair closer. I head over to Cisco and lean closer to him so I could hear what he wanted.

"I heard you and Dr. Wells earlier before I.. You know." He said as he looks towards Caitlin making sure she didn't hear us.

"And?"

"I think he is hiding something that he doesn't want anyone to know about."
