Running From Me /Complete

"Dawn, what are you doing here so early on a Monday morning?" Joe asked as he walks threw the labs doors and towards me where I sat behind the DNA forensics machine as I move between it and the microscope and also the computer. I slam the folder shut and place my glasses on it looking at Joe.

"Oh yeah, I had a lot of stuff to do this morning." I said and couch before giving him my best smile. That was actually a lie, I'm here so early because I want to find Mark and the only way is to track him down by using the DNA we found.

"Oh, so you are here to get some cases shut?" He asked as I nod my head. He gave me a small smile before shaking his head. "Come in Dawn, I have known you for almost a year now so you can't lie to me. Spill."

"Ugh fine I'm here to track down Mark Mardon," I said as I put my glasses back on and move my chair to the computer behind the microscope.

"Why might I asked?"

"Well he kind of held me against my will yesterday night and then the flash showed up and he kept talking about how I know the flash and that I'm something important to him. So I'm gonna track down Mark and find it out for myself." I said as I look at Joe as he moves towards me grabbing a chair and taking a seat as I gave him a weird look.

"What I'm gonna help you." He said as I gave him a small smile.

"Look Joe as much as I appreciate it I don't want you to get mixed up in my drama. I can take care if it." I said as he gave me a small smile before standing up and ruffling my hair.

"All right kiddo, I will get Barry to stop at Jitters so he can get you something strong for your day of work before he comes in," Joe said as I have him a thankful smile.

"Thanks, Joe," I said as he nods before walking out of the lab. It was probably already eleven and Barry still hasn't shown up for work. I hope he's okay. I have come very close to finding Mark I just have to pinpoint his location then I got him but before I do that I should probably call Barry first and make sure he's okay.

I move towards my desk where my phone was laying on top of my laptop as I grab it and dial Barry's number. I move it to my ear, it ran probably five times before he picks it up. There was this loud voice coming from the background and I could barely hear anything.

"Barry? Hello, can you hear me?"

"Hiiii Dawn." His voice finally came threw as I frowned. I could still hear the notice in the background.

"What you up to? You haven't come in for work today."

"Oh sorry I'm running late will be there in a few." He said and ended the call. I frown as I put my phone in the back of my jean pocket and grab my brown jacket throwing it over my black strapless shirt as I head out the lad. While I was on the phone with Barry the computer went off telling me I had the location of Mark. It wasn't far out of the city in an old abandoned warehouse. So I decided I head there before going to Jitters for lunch.

It didn't take long before I parked in front of the warehouse. It was pretty beat down as I climb out and shut the door behind me. I walk to the door and push them open and walk inside. The place was quite dark only light coming from the windows at the top. There were boxes everywhere as I walk to the middle of the room.

"Hello? Mark are you here?"I asked out loudly making sure he can hear me where ever he is in this place.

"Well look who finally decided to come and pay me a visit. Miss me already sweetheart?" A voice came behind me as I spun around and saw Mark smirking down at me.

"I'm here for answers," I said as he gave me a smile.

"Gladly, what do you want to know?"

"What did you mean yesterday night when you said the flash cared for me, who is he?"

"Still didn't figure it out huh?" He asked as I have him a blank stare. "Fine what I meant was you have known him for a year now. He is someone you see as a friend and maybe even more than just a friend. You work with him every day of your life." He said as my eyes grew larger.

"You mean, the flash is actually... Barry?" I asked as Mark made a ding ding voice.

"And we have a winner. I'm surprised you didn't notice. I mean hasn't he acted strange ever since he was struck by lighting, hasn't he been disappearing off to who knows where hasn't he know everything about you that no one else knows?"

"Your right, how could I be so stupid," I said and marched past him to the door.

"Hold your horses' princess, where you headed off to?" Mark asked stopping me in my tracks as I spun around took look at him.

"Thanks for helping open my eyes but now I have some business to take care of."

"Happy to help." He said as I walk out of the warehouse to my car. That was my final draw. Barry has gone over the limits of this friendship, thing. He told me we aren't gonna keep secrets from one another. Now it's my turn to throw it in his face.

I made a quick stop at Jitters and bought four coffee's to go and drove to S.T.A.R labs. If he was going to save the world he needs l people to help him and nobody else than Caitlin and Cisco. I bet even Harrison has something to do with this. I park in front of S.T.A.R labs as I grab the coffee and march inside. I cane around the familiar corner and saw Cisco and Caitlin behind the computers. I saw a mannequin in the opening of the lab in front of a desk. I shook my head and put on my best fake smile as I place the cup holder beside Caitlin.

"Hey, guys, what's up?"
