Running From Me /Complete

"Ah, Mr. Allen I see that you finally awaken," Harrison said as he wheels into the lab as I still stood behind Cisco. Cisco stood up and have Mr a look before heading into the left room. He emerged and throw Barry a STAR labs shirt. I move so I was leaning on the desk next to Barry as Harrison stop a few feet away from us.

"We have a lot to discuss." He said as I rolled my eyes at him but Barry looks like he was struck by lightning. Well, he was actually but he looks so surprised towards Harrison.

"It's hard to believe I'm here. I've always wanted to meet you face to face." Barry said as I shook my head and look at Cisco.

"Oh, brother," I mumbled as Barry's foot collide with mine and I shot him a look. "Ow, what was that for?' He only have me a smirk as I glare at his m.

"Well, you certainly went to great length to do it. S. T. A. R. Labs have not been operational since FEMA categorized us as a class 4 hazardous location. many more were injured. Myself amongst them." Harrison began as Caitlyn came to stand next to me.

"Geez. What happened?" Barry asked.

"Nine months ago, the particle accelerator went online, exactly as planned. For forty-five minutes I had achieved my life's dream and then there was an anomaly. The electron volts became unmeasurable, the ring under us popped, energy from that detonation was thrown into the sky, and that, in turn, seeded a storm-cloud."

"That created a lightning bolt that struck me?" Barry asked as he nods his head. I look towards Cisco and Caitlin as they have me a small smile. I wonder if they are used to just standing there while Harrison does all the talking.

"That's right. I was recovering when I heard about you. The hospital was undergoing unexplainable power outages every time you were going into cardiac arrest, which was, actually a misdiagnosis, because you see, you weren't flat-lining."

"Barry, your heartbeat was moving too fast for the EKG to register it." Both Caitlin and I said at the same time as the memories flash inside my mind. Barry looks towards with a sad smile as he grabs my hand and squeezed it.

"Now, I'm not the most popular person in town these days but, Detective West, his daughter, and Dawn gave me permission to bring you here, where we were able to stabilize you." He said as Barry stood up with my hand still in his.

"Iris?" Barry asked sounding happy as I felt something inside me. Jealously? No, I never felt jealous in my whole life. Why would I feel it now?

"Iris, yes. She came to see you quite often. Apart from Mrs. Price over here." Harrison said as he gave me a look which I never got from anyone, well except the people who didn't like me. I guess I never actually gave much attention to how people look at me.

"She talks a lot," Caitlin said.

"Also, she's hot," Cisco said as I look towards him placing my hand on my hip, I also let go of Barry's hand. "Not like you are not hot, Dawn. I mean you are..."

"Easy their new guy," Barry said as I look at Barry and saw something flash in his eyes.

"My name is Cisco Ramon," Cisco said pointing at himself before pointing towards Caitlin. "And she's Caitlin. Umm I mean Doctor Snow." Barry nods his head as I look towards Caitlin as she only gave me a smile.

"I need to go. I mean we need to go." Barry said as he heads to the opening of the lab as he grabs my hand pulling me with him.

"No, you can't." Caitlin began as Barry stop at the entrance with me in front of him.

"No, no, no, Caitlin's right, now that you're awake, we need to do more tests. You're still going through changes, there's so much that we don't know." Cisco said as they all turn to look at Barry.

"I'm fine, really. I feel normal. Thank you for saving my life." Barry said as he looks down at his shirt. "Can I keep the sweatshirt?"

"Yeah, keep the sweatshirt," Cisco said as Barry nid before walking away with me behind him.

"Barry slows down, I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to them."

"You can make it up to them later, but I'm not liking Cisco very much?"

"Why you don't even know him?"

"Well, he... Ummm... Never mind. I'm sure I will be found of him later on." Barry said as I frowned. We got out of the labs and head towards my car as we both got in.

"Let's get you to Iris and Joe. I'm sure they are going to be happy to see you just as much as I was." I said as he looks towards me and gave me a smile.

I knock on the dark brown oak door as I look at Barry who stood behind me so that he could surprise Iris and Joe. I turn back to the front door as it open and Iris stood there dressed in a black dress that reaches just above her knees, her hair was curled and she had black heels on.

"What you doing here, Dawn. If I know you would have come I would have to cancel my date." She said as I gave her a small smile.

"I'm sorry for just showing up but I figured you want to see the surprise," I said as she frowned and I took a step to my right so she could see Barry. Her eyes move from me to Barry as her hands come up to her mouth and she let out a gasp.

"Barry?" She asked almost as if she didn't know if she was believing what's in front of her eyes.

"Yeah, it's me." He said as he walks closer so he was standing almost in front of him. She let out a laugh before pulling him into a bone crushing hug. Ever since Barry was in a coma Iris and I became closer than I ever taught that we could be. We had sleepovers, well she slept more at my place since she loves the view and I sleep more here since I love Joe's cooking.

I walk past them as I enter the house and made my way to the kitchen where the wonderful smells where coming from. I saw Joe standing behind the stove with a cloth over his left shoulder and a spatula in his hand.

"Hi, Joe," I said as I jump onto the counter that was near Joe as he turns around to look at me.

"Hi, Dawn. Are you here for dinner?"

"You know I can't stay away from your food," I said as he laughed and nid his head. "Actually I kind of brought a surprise." He looks at me confused as I heard the front door shut and saw Barry walking into the kitchen with Iris behind him. Joe looks towards Barry just as shocked as he gave him a smile. Joe throws the cloth on the counter before moving to Barry bringing him in a hug. Iris came to stand next to me as I smile at Joe and Barry. Barry must have noticed me looking because he lifts his head from Joe's shoulder and looks towards me.

"Thank you." He mouth the words as I gave him a small smile and nod.

"Well since they are going to hug al night we might as well finish dinner." It is said slapping my knee playfully as she walks to the stove.
