I sighed as I dragged my suitcases out of my aunt's mini van. The family had followed me to the airport to say their last good bye. Roll my eyes. Abby and Simone was also there, both crying like crazy. I can't blame them. They are my best friends.
After I have finished doing all the necessities before boarding the plan, I waited in a little cafe at the airport for the boarding time to come.
"Are you guys really serious that I am going alone?" I asked my family.
Rolling her eyes, aunt Lyn answered, "Yes Olivia. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Everything will be okay."
I blew a breath out of my mouth and shrugged.
"I'm going to miss you girl." Abby shrieked, wiping her tearful eyes.
"Me too." Simone and I chorused as I hugged them both so tightly.
"I promise I'll keep in touch with you guys. I love you both. You ma sisters." I said trying to cheer them up.
They chuckled and Simone said, "We know girl. We love you too."
I smiled at them. A man came up to us and he said, "Are any of you Miss Olivia Queenston?"
I cleared my throat before answering, "Yes, I am."
"Its time to board the plane. Please, follow me." He said sternly.
"Oh my God! It's time to go. I'm so nervous." I shrieked.
"Everything will be alright." My uncle said in a comforting tone.
"I wish dad was here so that I could say my last goodbye." I muttered, hanging my head low.
After my little argument at the dinner table when dad walked out, he haven't spoken to me. He wouldn't even look at me. Its been two days and now I am leaving. Doesn't he care? Or is he happy I'm leaving.
"He loves you honey. He's just mad." Grandma cooed.
"I guess so. Any way, I'll go now. Bye everyone." I said hugging them one by one as tears fell from eyes. I am really leaving.
A tear raced down my aunt's cheeks as she hugged me tighter. "We'll call you." She said.
I nod my head as she lets me go. I give Abby and Simone one last hug before I followed the man to the plane.
I did not know the flight is twenty one hours until the pilot informed the passengers before taking off. Its been six hours since the plane took off and I'm dying. What the hell am I suppose to do on this plane for twenty one hours! God knows I am freaking out! I am going to be so bored. I'm afraid boredom will kill me. If only I knew somebody on this god forsaken plane. The only thing I've been doing is looking out the tiny windows at the clouds and sea. It's really boring.
There was a boy sitting beside me. He had black hair and pale red lips. He had an headphone on. He wasn't cute but he wasn't ugly either. He's average. He caught me looking at him and he gave me a shy, small smile. He removed the headphone. Still smiling he said, "Hey, I'm Johnaton."
I returned his smile and stated, "I'm Olivia. First time going to Australia?"
"No, I actually live there. My mother and I came to Jamaica for my sister's wedding."
"Oh that's nice. It's my first time." I said, leaving out the part where I do not know where I am going to get money, food or shelter.
"That's nice. Australia is a very nice place. You'll love it." He informed me.
"Thanks." I said offering another smile before I looked out the window.
Well he's nice. Hope to see him again.
I sighed as we flew over the clouds. What am I really going to do when I arrive in Australia? I have nobody there. Is the university a boarding institution? I surely hope so. I curled up in the seat as I took a little nap.

"Olivia? Olivia? Wake up...." A voice said nudging my shoulder.
Groaning I mumbled, "Mmm, let me sleep. Go away."
The voice laughed and soon I recognized the voice. Oh my god, this is so embarrassing. I quickly sat up and gave him a shy smile.
"I'm sorry Johnaton. Why did you wake me up?"
"We're here. Welcome to Australia." He beamed with a wide grin.
"Really? Have I been sleeping that long?" I asked looking around the plane and realizing most of the passengers had left leaving me, Johnaton and a couple engaged in a heated kiss. Ew!
He laughed and said, "Yeah. Now let's go."
I smiled and followed him out of the plane. After grabbing our suitcases and doing all the necessities after coming off the plane, we were finally outside. Wow! Australia is veeeery hot! It was a bright day. Very sunny day.
I turned to Johnaton and asked, "What's the time?"
Looking at his watch he answered, "Twelve fifteen in the afternoon."
"Thank you."
"So who's coming to pick you up?" He asked.
"Oh...um.. I'm going to the university of Law so I will be staying there." I muttered.
"Oh okay. Well there comes my mom. So I guess this is our goodbye. It was really nice meeting you." He said pointing at a black haired lady storming up to us which is his mom.
"Nice meeting you too." I said smiling.
"Goodbye." He said before walking away with his unfriendly mother. She didn't even say hi to me.
"Bye." I called after him.
When he was out of view I looked around looking for somewhere to sit. I found a bench and I strolled over to it, plopping my ass on it.
"What the fuck am I suppose to do now?" I grumbled to myself.
"Olivia..." I hear someone softly calling my name.
I looked and only saw people walking around. Maybe my mind is going.
"Olivia..." The voice called again.
Okay, so somebody is definitely calling my name. I looked up again, but this time I looked to my right.
Oh my god! My breathing got hitched in my throat. Oh my God! A ghost! My eyes were popping out of their sockets as my mouth was wiiiide open. Oh my god!
She was wearing a short blue dress and a blue and white converse shoes. Her hair was up into a loose pony tail. Her lips were stained with red lipstick.
"Mom?" I breathed out.
"Hi baby."
