I awoke to the feeling of pain in my ribs.
I checked the time. It was 1:02 A.M. I looked up and saw Lexus with the same crazed look on her face as she had on earlier. In the dark, the silhouette of an object came towards me and she poked me in the ribs with it.
I got up slowly and made my way towards her. After regaining my sight, I realized she poked me with a broom. She motioned for me to keep quiet. I grunted and was glad when Mercedes and Bertha didn't move. At least they were getting some rest. When I finally made it towards the door and cautiously closed it, I was face to face with her outside.
Before saying anything, she slapped me and dragged me to the kitchen.
