I was crazy, I know, I still didn't know why I was going to go help. Reasons raced across my mind and I wanted to scream. Seth had kidnapped me, I had to survive and try and make it out alive in that place. Yet, I was going back, because Kate said they were in trouble. Was I going back because of me, or him?

I had left my apartment early in the morning arriving at his place in three hours.

I stood at the doorstep, unsure if i would knock or not. I contemplated going back and crossing the border by myself, but I didn't want people to know where I was in case anything happened. I debated in my mind, wrote a list of pros and cons, but I hadn't come up with anything and everything balanced out in that list.

I sighed, pushing my irrational fear out of my head and knocked on the door, dreadfully wishing that it wouldn't open, that I wouldn't have to ask for that favor.

The door opened and a lady stood behind it, holding the door. She was in her forties, her brown and gray hair was pulled back into a tight bun and she had a red apron on.

"Está Ricky Bacon aquí?" I asked the lady, figuring she spoke fluent Spanish.

"What do you want with Ricky?" She asked, her voice was raspy and her eyes stayed on me, staring me up and down, analyzing me quickly.

"He's my uncle, I need help," I admitted to the woman. She stood still and I waited. I knew that she was thinking about letting me in, thinking if she could trust me, but, eventually, she opened the door, beckoning me to enter.

I stepped through the threshold and looked around. Multiple people were sitting around on the couch, watching the tiny TV intently. Many kids were playing around, kicking their few toys around. They all adverted their attention toward me, their talking and the children's screams died down and not a single word was said.

The door behind me shut and the lady stepped in front of me, "sígueme," she said, leading me through the rest of the house.

The house was small, but there were numerous residents within. My best guess was that they were from Mexico, wishing for a better life and my uncle had found them, keeping them here til it was safe.
