"When my friends ask me why I stayed so long, why I accepted the roses and ignored the thorns I tell them it's not easy to weed out the roots he planted in me,"

"What's going on?" I asked while he led me through to the truck.
"We're getting the hell out of here," he said in a huff.
He dragged me to the truck and I leaned up against it, my lungs were filled with smoke and I was trying to desperately fill my lungs with air, but the air was still musky from the men surrounding the building.
"Very nice," Seth smiled to the man putting the last pile of money into the truck, "make sure you get employee of the month,"
I pushed myself off the side of the truck and walked toward Seth.
Too easy, I said to myself.
"We'll get this money, you'll get your half and I'll get mine and we'll go out separate ways," he said, watching the man.
The thought of having to depart from Seth was hard, I didn't want to, "but what if I don't want-"
"Watch out," Seth said, hitting a man with the side of his gun that was creeping up behind him.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked.
"What does it look like? I'm taking the money and getting the hell away from here, compadre," he said, his gun still on him.
Bad feelings erupted from my stomach and I didn't know what was wrong.
"Need a hand?" He asked with a smile before a man cam and grabbed Seth from behind.
He had an extra pair of arms, which was unnatural, he gripped tightly on Seth.
"Stop!" I yelled, charging after him, but the other culebra grabbed me as well, choking me out until I was knocked out.
