Once we arrived at the place Seth was staying at, I couldn't focus. I was beyond tired and scared. I kept on thinking about the outcomes of what could have happened if- if I hadn't killed him.
Would he have killed me, taken my money, and run? Would I be brain damaged? No matter what I thought, it didn't happen, and I didn't have to worry about the body, because Seth took care of that.
He took me to a room and showed me where the shower was, handing me a pair of clean clothes and a towel, "whose clothes are these?" I asked, noticing that they were female clothing.
"A friend's," he said walking toward the door, "goodnight,"
"Thank you," I said one last time, looking at him.
He just looked back at me, and walked out the door, shutting it behind him. Not wanting to speak to me.
I trudged into the bathroom in desperate need of a shower. The man's blood was still in me and if my adrenaline hadn't kicked in, I would've thrown up from all the blood.
Once I was clean enough, I hopped out of the shower, drying my body and putting the fresh new clothes on. I started to dry my hair with a towel as I opened the bathroom door.
I dried my hair with the towel and hung it up, putting myself in the bed and turning the lamp off, getting much needed sleep.
