The door to the truck opened again and a man stood there, looking in and counting us.
I looked at him, pleading with my eyes, "please, help us," but he just shook his head while a chuckle escaped from his lips.
He laughed and looked at me, "Yeah," he shook his head, grabbing the top of the truck's door.
"Wait," I said; stopping him from pulling the truck down.
He stopped and stared at me, annoyance written on his face. Standing up, I was about four feet off the ground in the back of the truck; I kicked him in the throat, causing him to stumble back, grabbing at his throat.
I hopped down from the truck as he launched himself at me, but I dodged him, causing him to slam into the back of the truck. I quickly turn around and grab the back of his head, bashing it hard against it, causing the guy to cripple and fall to the ground.
I grab his hands, trying with all my might to drag him across the road and into a pile of bushes where he'd go unnoticed until he woke up.
I bend down, feeling around the guy's hip, taking his gun that he had in his holster.
I stand up straight, walking back to the truck and looking at the girls, "I'm going to get us out of here," I told them, reaching for the top of the door and bringing it down, running up to the front of the truck.
I hop in the front, closing the door, but the keys weren't in the ignition. I flip the top mirror down, but they hadn't fallen into my lap.
"Shit!" I exclaimed, banging on the wheel.
I get out of the car, softly closing the door to not make noise. I make my way to the back and open it again, "I have to go get the keys," I tell them, "I'll be back,"
