And now another information! My brain is saying no don’t Sarah, but I am actually quite eager what this secret could be.
I nodded and got excited what it was.
Adam looked around us, left and right. I rolled my eyes at him for just being childish! As if someone is going to be interested about it? He waved his hand over me signalling to lean my head into him. I followed him.
“Wha-”
“This is going to be fun”, he laughed as he quickly pulled away from me!
I was caught off guard of him as he sneakily pressed his cheek on my lips and took a photo of it! Why are these people adding more problems!
He soon was fiddling his phone and laughing at what he had done. I stood up quickly to yank his phone but he saw me and quickly ran away from me. I was fuming at what he did and cannot really be bothered of these childish acts. But I remembered… what if Sam saw that! Drat. I quickened my pace but soon felt my legs going in for the run. I don’t care what the others around think of me. What if they saw me? Will they know that I am Sarah Geronimo?
I stopped to catch some breaths when I caught up with him. He opened his car’s door and sat on the driver’s seat. I glared at him but he rolled his eyes at me. I hopped into the car with my glare focusing on him. He is so going to get it!
“What was that for?”, I scowled at him closing the door with a heavy thud.
“You’ll see”, he laughed and reversed from the car park.
“You’re just being stupid”, I yelled at him. “What if others see that!”
“You should be proud of yourself”. He raised one of his eyebrows at me. “All the girls queue up to just have that photo with me, you know?”
“Parehas lang kayo ni Gerald”, I mumbled to myself.
He snorted. “And why would that be?”
“For just being…”, I paused for few seconds getting caught. I thought he was not going to catch it. “…just being a-”
“Exactly”, he chuckled.
We got at the University around five in the afternoon, almost three hours since we left here. I have been pestering Adam on the car why he has done that but he just ignored me or threatened to crash the car if I don’t stop talking. Crazy. He is actually quite fun to be with but a bit loopy though. And so crazy.
“Thanks Adam”, I said to him whilst opening the car’s door.
“No pro-”
I followed his gaze and saw why he was cut off. Gerald was walking fast towards us. Gerald’s eyes were full of rage and they are not flinching. Those burning eyes just staring at Adam.
“Sarah alis na!”, Adam said pushing me gently out of the car.
That’s a first. Adam speaking in Tagalog? I did not know he could speak it.
“Sandali lang…”, I told him straightening myself out before I hop off his car, “…I am just go-”
“Get off! Get off!”, he half-yelled at me.
I got off the car when he pushed me out of it and managed to close the passenger’s door but Gerald quickly opened Adam’s side of door.
“Hello brother…”, Adam said coolly to Gerald, trying to hide the traces of panic in his face. But he continued, “You got the photo?”
Great. WHAT? I looked at Adam with… I can’t even describe my face right now… it was torn between madness and anger. Why send the photo to Gerald! Well I guess it is better Adam sent it to Gerald than Sam but why? WHY?
I opened the door to try and strangle this crazy kid but as I closed the door behind me the car quickly reversed. I panicked and looked for the buckles. I buckled myself up and caught in the corner of my eyes the car’s front window to see… to see... WHAT IS ADAM DOING THERE SMILING AT ME??
WHAT???
ADAM?
WHY IS HE THERE!!!
That only means...
Drat.
