Harmony
I face timed my husband as i waited for him to answer. He was in the war for about 5 years now. We get to see him during holidays but then he goes back.
The face time soon connected. His sexy ass face appeared in the camera.
"Hi baby." He said in a sleepy voice.
"Oh im sorry did i wake you up?" I asked.
"No i woke myself up, you just happened to call as i woke up." He said chuckling.
Soon my oldest son Kendrick walked into the kitchen. He ran his fingers through his curls as walked to the fridge.
"Look honey there your twin." I said turning the camera towards Kendrick who looks just like Keith.
"Hi dad."
"Hey son, you holding it down while im away?"
"Yes sir."
Keith nodded. "Thats what like to hear how do your grades look?"
"Straight A's sir." He said smiling proudly.
"Great. Your sisters ok?"
"Yes sir, Kehlani and Kaela are perfectly fine."
"What about Khristen?"
"Thats a gremlin and yes shes good."
I giggled at his response. Keith shook his head. As if on que Khristen came down stairs.
"Hey mom." Khristen said grabbing a granola bar and sitting next to me.
"Ahem. Hi?" Kendrick said.
She looked him, she opened her mouth to say something but shook her head and held her hand up to him.
"Is that my dad?" She said.
"Hi babygirl!" Keith said.
"Hi daddy!" She said smiling
"How you doing princess?"
"Im fine. How are you dad?" She said smiling.
"Im good princess. Hows school?" He said.
"Great! Im excelling in all my classes and we got a championship game in volley ball and we got new uniforms" she said grinning goofily like her dad.
"Ooh cant wait to see them."
Then our 3 year old twins came downstairs giggling and laughing.
"Hi mommy!" My babygirl, Kaela said hopping in my lap.
"Daddy!" Kehlani said clapping. I looked and saw that he was still on the line, just on pause.
"Hold you cant see daddy baby."
"Why not?" I heard a deep voice ask.
"Because hes on pause kendrick. Duh." I said looking at the screen.
"Well why face time when im right here?" He said again. I turned and saw him the love of my life.
"Dad!" All the kids said smiling.
"Hey guys!" He said smiling.
"Hey harmony." He said kissing my lips.
"Hey baby."
"You knew about this?" Kendrick asked.
I nodded. I looked at him and smiled at my family.
"Well heres also something you dont know about." I said sitting down.
"Im pregnant again."
