"Well i found a woman, stronger than anyone i know.."
He rubbed his hand up and down my lower back as i bit my lip.
"She shares my dreams, i hope that someday ill share her home.."
As i kept looking at keith i realized that we've talked about our futures but never realized it.
"I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets."
Every conversation we've ever had has ended up on marriage or children or a place to live. He was giving me hints.
"To carry love, to carry children of our own."
As was i. But we never caught them.
"We are still kids, but were so in love."
We could get married now if we wanted to. He was only 19 amd i was 18. We're both legal, but we have so much life to live.
"Fighting against all odds."
He probably doesn't even want a relationship. Or does he already have one?
"I know we'll be alright this time."
I think he saw the worried look in my eyes because he smiled at me knowing i couldnt resist his smile.
"Darling just hold my hand.."
He laced our fingers together as he swayed and smiled with me.
"Be my girl, ill be your man.."
His eyes said it all, he didnt even need to speak, i could just hear his soul telling me, 'I need you.'
"I see my future in your eyes."
His eyes scanned mine as he pulled me closer to him, his body was pressed onto mine as he help a firm grip on me.
"Baby, im dancing in the dark with you between my arms.."
He spun me as i spun back into his arms. I giggled once more as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Bare foot on the grass, listening to our favorite song.."
His eyes roamed my body as he looking back in my eyes..
"When i saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful."
His eyes gleamed with amazement.
"I dont deserve this, darling, you look perfect tonight."
He ran his hands up and down my sides.
"Baby, im dancing in the dark with you between my arms."
He pulled me a little closer, if we got any closer we would fall.
"Bare foot on the grass listening to our favorite song.."
I closed my eyes and rested my head on his chest as we swayed slowly.
"I have faith in what i see."
I looked up to see keith staring at me.
"Now i know ive met an angel in person"
His glow of happiness couldnt be hidden, and if you saw me.. neither could mine.
"And she looks perfect."
Our smiles broad and gleaming.
"I dont deserve this.."
Our lips inches away from either other.
"You look perfect tonight."
Finally, they touched. The warm embrace of his lips let me know..
I was officially his.
And it shall stay that way 💕
