A Twist in Time (1)

James Sirius, James and Sirius were only out for about a half hour so they weren't late for Defense Against The Dark Arts. James was fully back to his normal self after running, he wasn't annoyed or mad he was calm and collected. 

"James, Sirius I know what our first prank will be," James Sirius told the two with a wide grin.

"And what would that be dear James?" Sirius asked his friend. James Sirius told them exactly what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. When they reached DADA everyone who was in the fifth year was there. Hermione, Ron, Harry, Lily, Remus, and Peter. 

"You're a fool! A wolf could easily kill a dog," James Sirius said with a laugh finally ending an argument with Sirius about who's animagus form would win.

"What are you talking about?" Harry asked the three walking teens.

"Who us? We were just having a friendly argument," Sirius said with a sly grin.

"Why do you have a leaf in your hair?" Remus asked looking at James.

"We were... outside," James Sirius answered his grin only widening.

"Why were you outside? We have class," Lily said annoyed.

"Yes, but we were not late were we Green?" James answered with her grin still on her face.

 "No, you weren't but one of you already managed to get detention and class haven't even started yet," Hermione said cutting in.

"That is unfair, I was simply telling her my name," James Sirius said trying to defend himself.

"How did you get in trouble for telling someone your name? Even Snape wouldn't do that!" Ron asked shocked.

"Well, she gave me detention for walking into the great hall, however, she thought I was Harry over there. So I told her I wasn't Harry Potter but she wouldn't listen, I told her again and again. Then when she finally believed me she gave me detention for 6 days because I simply told her my name. I hardly think I did anything wrong," James answered with a grin. He had been to many different detentions before this wasn't anything new to him, he wasn't worried.

"Bloody Hell," Ron muttered. 

"Well we really should be going in now," James Sirius said as he started toward the door. He sat in the back with James and Sirius. They were becoming quite close as they were very similar. They decided to put their prank in place about halfway through. It was mainly up to James and James Sirius. Both James's put their hands in the air. Umbridge called on James Patterson first.

"Yes James," she said in her sickly sweet voice. Both James's started talking at exactly the same time however neither were saying the same thing.

"I said, James!" Umbridge said annoyed that both had started talking.

"Yes, and I am James!" James shouted standing up.

"No, I am the one and only James!" James Sirius shouted. Everyone was laughing except for Hermione and Lily who just seemed annoyed.

"No, you are incorrect I am James," Sirius said standing up. 

"WHICH ONE OF YOU IS JAMES!" Umbridge yelled annoyed at the disruption,

"I AM," James Sirius and James said in unison. Sirius simply sat back down laughing.

"Well all three of you will have detention, you already have detention so I suppose you'll just do that," Umbridge said taking a calming breath before sitting back down. "Class is dismissed."

As the group filed out of the classroom everyone was still laughing. "That was bloody brilliant!" on stated looking between the two James's and Sirius.
