The Journey toward Maximillian with my mother was smooth and steady. We acted like a band of adventurers along the way and did some subjugation on any bandits we encountered. Rosemaria was acting like our scout as planned. She transformed her clothes into assassin outwear during most of the time but she always changed it into maid form during the private times when there was nobody but our party and shifted her mask to her side.

"After we pass this mountain, we should have arrived at Maximillian territory. Our encounter rate with the patrolling guards also would be close to zero."

I said.

"But, won't it better if we took the normal route or the forest? We might be able to rescue the refugees."

Rosemaria asked. That was indeed something to be considered. From the intel we got from the Frontier Village, there were numerous refugees coming from Maximillian. The people were unable to withstand Daigo's tyranny. 

"I haven't considered that. But, knowing that guy's personality, there would be a military movement if he knows my return."

I said.

"I still haven't known the current summoned heroes but judging from the way people describing him, he was not a decent person."

My mother said.

"It's not just being decent or not, Mother. That guy is the worst kind of guy who acted on his desire. He even tried to make a move on Alicia on his introduction."

I said with disdain.

"Hee, that guy is pretty stupid as a hero."

My mother said. 

"That aside, which route should we take?"

Rosemaria asked.

"I think we should take the mountain. We still need to infiltrate the country to make a firm base for our operation later on."

I said.

"Then, are you going to abandon those refugees?"

My mother asked. 

"No, I'll ask one of my subordinates to do the escort."

I said. I opened my legion menu and contacted Callisto.

'Hello, the Monkey Speaking.'

I could hear the playful tone of my subordinate inside my head.

"I have a mission for you. I want you to help the refugees escape the country. If you're asked, just say that you're protecting them from the people who dares to point their weapons at unarmed opponent."

I said.

'Eeeh, that sounds troublesome.'

"Don't complain!! Helping them might give us information about the situation. Besides, you can gain fame as a hero and might be rewarded in the future. You'll be popular."

With that the telepathy ended. I sighed tiredly.

"What a simple subordinate I have...."

Karina asked.

"He'll do it, he said."

I replied.

"I see. Then, we can take the mountain route at ease."

Fianna said.

"Is that person really capable? Also, what was that just now? I didn't see you taking any item or using any equipment just now."

My mother asked worriedly.

"He's should be very capable, probably. He's bit too childish, looked hopeless, naive, and shameless but i can guarantee that every subordinates of mine have a good battle sense and not amateurish."

I said.

"But, those negative traits are already worrying though."

Rosemaria said.

"Then, let's depart right away. We have stayed here for too long already."

I said.

I said.

My mother was surprised.

I said.

My mother said.

She was losing her calm under her helmet.

"From Shiina. Ah, Shiina is the hero of Love which was also summoned along with the 'scum' hero of justice, 'afro' hero of Wisdom, 'straight and rigid' hero of Courage and 'the childish' hero of Freedom."

I said.

"How does she know Minato by the way?"

My mother titled her head.

"How? She is his daughter."

When I said that, the atmosphere became colder all sudden.

"We-Well, calm down, Mother!! I'll explain the rest when we reunited with the main group so, please calm down first!!"

I said in panic.

"What are you talking about, Ren? Mother is very calm you see..."

She said so with gentle tone but that alone made her lot more scarier added to her current outfit. My mother was without doubt a Yandere type of woman. I put on a big note in my mind to make sure Alicia won't become one. The mood stayed like that along the way until my mother found a passing by flock of wyvern to be her stress relieve.
