Hunter
"Nervy. That could be a good nickname for you, Blair." I say to her, smiling. I shove a few chips into my mouth before I realise how hot they are and start to choke. "Ah! Hot! Hot!" I shout between panicked breaths, Blair laughs at my drunk struggling. When I've finally recovered I turn and look at her with as serious a face as I can muster.
"That was your fault." I accuse her, laughing and she opens her mouth. "How on earth was that my fault?" She asks, her eyes narrowing to slits and I start laughing. "I don't know mind control? You are a complete stranger there are many things about you that I don't know." I state and she raises an eyebrow, smiling. "Don't you worry, I'm boring remember?" She reminds me and I shake my head as I pick up another chip, blowing on it dramatically before popping it into my mouth.
"No no I never said you were boring just sort of uptight. You just need someone to show you how to have some fun." I smirk at her, winking and she rolls her eyes. "My friends that I actually know have been trying to get me to 'have fun' for most my life so I doubt you'd be much better. I'm a snooze." She says, sighing as she gives up defending herself. I smile over at her as she eats a chip. "Alright, but a stranger may have more luck. I bet I could think of something crazy and reckless we could do right now." I state before shoving 5 or 6 chips in my mouth at once. She shakes her head at me, "Nope. You've come to the wrong place mate, maybe in London but Weymouth is a seaside town. Not much reckless things we can do. Getting a tattoo or breaking the law is about as far as it goes." She informs me and I smile cheekily.
"So we get tattoos." I state and she looks at me, her eyes widened in shock. "No way in hell. Think of something else." She tells me strictly and I grin widely, an idea forming in my head. "I think I have just the idea." I say and sit, content with my plan as I finish my chips.
"Come on we're going, you can finish your chips on the way, slow coach." I say 20 minutes later as I eat my last two chips and throw the paper in the bin, walking hastily ahead of her. I hear her feet moving quickly as she struggles to catch up with me. "Wait! Oh my. How can I even trust anything you say, you're still drunk." I hear her say from behind me as she eats her last few chips. I shrug, "I'm pretty much sober by now it's been like two hours. Also I'm currently walking on the pavement in a reasonably straight line so I'm fine, nervy." I say, smiling mischievously over in her direction. She finally catches up to me but struggles to keep up with my long strides so I slow down slightly. She puts her wrapper in a bin as we go past.
"So how old are you then?" She asks me and I get the feeling she's been wondering for a while. I don't blame her, I'm sort of very tall. "19." I reply simply and she lets out a sigh of relief, I think. As we continue to walk I can tell that she's growing nervous, glancing at me every two seconds. I pretend not to notice this as she asks, "How do you even know where you're going if you just moved here?" I look at her and smile before turning back to the street and continuing to walk at a steady pace beside her. "Where exactly are we going Hunter?" She asks as we turn onto the long stretch of colourful buildings that is the Esplanade. I feel the cool ocean breeze as we continue walking until I stop, satisfied with how far along we've gone.
"We're going swimming." I state before climbing over the short wall and jumping onto the sand. She scrambles over after me as fast as she can before, not so graciously jumping onto the sand. I pretend not to notice and look out to the ocean, hiding my smile. "No. No we are not." She tells me abruptly. I turn to her, lowering my head so it's level with hers, looking right into her eyes and raising an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't want to be a bore?" I say, my face mere inches away from hers, I know I shouldn't do this but it's part of the fun. She gulps, I notice her breath quickens and smile.
